You know, I'm working on my first project (a gay sandbox)..and this is one of the main mechanics of the game. The MC can have 3 different personalities (on my case I call them attitudes) and they may shift according his answers/actions during the game (also you can choose predefined basic on the MC creator screen). My plan is to have the npc react accordingly, and even better, they have their own personalities that crash/complement the MC's personality. My main inspiration is shepard from mass effect series.

I dunno if it's too ambitious for a first game, but I refuse to let go this idea. Let's see how I do on the next months, I've been working on this since november.
Sigh... this post was on January, '21, 2 months after I started the development of my game... it was really ambitious indeed. Trying to have 3 distinct attitudes on an MC, and having the game react to them (or he reacting differently) is a titanic work, I only achieved it in part, only making it apparent on certain scenes. Fuck, it's almost like making 3 different MCs in one.

Bioware can achieve this.. because they are bioware. A single dude handling all this? hah.

I doubt I pull a stunt like this on my second game.

Well, since this thread rose from the dead... I want (/might write) a game where you can play a real life school bully: a harem game where you can intimidate, harass, blackmail and coerce fellow students, their hot moms, teachers and more.

Sort of like my current game but in a school settings...

I want to see a game where you start off straight male, lonely and unsuccessful with women. But you have genius idea. You become a passing trans lesbian. You keep your cock.

Other trans people you meet are genuine but you're motives aren't as pure.

You get to watch girls changing in changing rooms and showers. Because you're now a girl you befriend straight married women and hit on them, but no one can say anything because that would be transphobic. Their husbands can't do anything either, or else they'd be canceled and loose their jobs and their wives for being transphobic bigots.

You can cuddle with their wives and legal daughters, and go on girls only trips and fuck them all. A few of the husbands kill themselves after you impregnate their wives and daughters. You start a pride club at the local college and take lesbian girl's virginities. If any resist, they are kicked out of the group and canceled for being transphobic.

After a few people are canceled, loose their jobs, and are killed by protestors, every one becomes even more on edge and afraid of being canceled. This is when you can not only hit on women in the shower rooms but start fucking them in the bathrooms and showers and they can't do anything about it. And then you can start fucking women in public.

Any one who calls you out is killed on the spot by the mob.

If some one makes this game I would be so happy.

Background
The world is somewhere in the next 20-100 years. Andriod movement has been mastered, and andriods designed for sexual pleasure are quite common. You are a (Female) sexbot, still on the factory line and have been released from production early. Somehow, you're sentient unlike the others. Speaking of the others, they've all gone haywire and mauled (death by snu snu) the factory operators.

"Story"
This is not much a story focued game, and pretty much you have to go find and transfer to an experimental body. This body lets you morph your outside frame to mimic that of a human, so you can blend into society.

Gameplay
This is not a game where you go uwu date people~. You are a robot fighting for the primal desire to exist, which involves much violence. To achieve this, you have an arsenal of weapons which range from coin-tossing revolvers to explosive dildo launchers. Like another game, you can punch kick the shotgun pellets to make them hit harder. Now for health..

Cum is fuel
You aren't exactly a victim here. While getting hit by certain attacks or reaching zero health will have you fucked, you can do the same back. Your lust meter increases when aiming for genitals or simply doing alot of damage. When it maxes out, you can preform a sex attack. Tougher enemies will grant more conciousness, which acts as a max health limiter. Being sexed will decrease conciousness, and at 0 you lose.

As woman i want to see less rape, blackmail, prostitution, ... and stop corrupting before they turn into free for all sluts.
As lesbian i want to see more dickfree games/harems/routes.
As player i want to have more choices that matter, not only view or skip scenes, it should impact the story (=more difference in routes, not only who awaits you in bed).
As thinking person i want to have different storys, not 1000 remakes, covers or otherwise identical plots (like coming home after years, seducing your family and get rid of the guys, or a family member brings home an asshole who trys to dominate the whole family and you either submit to it or fight it with its own methods, or start as shy innocent girl and get corrupted into a cumslut or end in an endless rape-cycle, ...) because they get even more boring over time than they were at the first time.
As human being i want to have the option to kill annoying characters with varius gore levels instead of wasting hours to get rid of them or having to deal with them until the end.

Adding everything up, i want either the true nightmare of every developer:
1. Start the game by selecting your gender....
1a. and for really ambitionous devs: choose your personality (a few predefined basics and working with choice-based earned points to change during gameplay and other charas/dialogues reacting to your personality)
2. Develop your sexuality yourself and dont start as straight, bi or homosexual protagonist, you choose who and what you befriend, date, fuck, ignore or fend off
3. Fully optional kinks and none from the start. Discover them from the people you interact with and choose if you want to try them, decide if you like them...
3a. and for really ambitionous devs: if you try to get other charas to try them too. (would be a megaton of extra work)
4. An interesting storyline/setting that only care about the plot, not about who you fuck in your free time or what you are into.
5. Modding support to add more charas you can have fun with in your free time without influencing the storyline and destroying the devs vision.
...to make it short, a sandbox game with really free choices

Or more of the rare stuff, maybe something really new...but in every case, no unavoidable stuff aside from the main story...nearly every game here has the same thing in common: The main story is mostly based on sex or progress through sex and that gets annoying. I have a really high sexdrive and give a shit about society norms, religious propaganda and anything else that try to suppress or force me, but even i split sex and the rest of life. Thats why i think it would be better to seperate the storyline from the sexlife instead of making it the only focus.
I swear you took the words out of my mouth. that's exactly what I think the games of the future should be, but I think the huge amount of options that would be created scares many creators. if you know a game that comes close to your requests please report it to me, that I throw myself headlong into playing it. I think that games should essentially have many ideas that come close to reality and so far I haven't found any as "complete" as you and I think

I would like to see a one piece version of the game 'Something Unlimited'. The main protagonist would be Blackbeard and instead of hunting heroes you, you hunt other female pirates. When you capture them you keep them on pirate island in cells. If you capture too many females too quickly the other Yonko's might launch an investigation or just wage all out war. This forces the player to upgrade their security of the island. Blackbeard's crew will be the ones doing the hunting. We could make it so the stronger the Female the more stealth and strength the crew member needs to capture her, thus introducing a stat system. In order to increase stats the player can train the crew and their fruit powers. The art for this game would be a bit better and the poses during scenes will be unique for each girl. Maybe later on in the game when you've captured all of the female pirates, You can find a devil fruit that opens portals to other dimensions, This would allow the player to hunt females from other anime's like Naruto/bleach-Adding more waifu's to the game. This forces the player to research different ways to capture these new females based on their abilities. this is all i can think of right now but i hope someone takes this idea into consideration, it would be really cool of we could see something like this come into existence

So I think there should be two games one based on Star Wars and the other Dynasty Warriors. Both pretty much involve exploring, doing quests and defeating Yedi(Jedi), Yith(Sith) and Female Generals. its too bad I dont know how to draw or Id be down to try making something.

Anyone else have any games they would like to see?
I'm surprised I haven't seen a Star Gate game. I definitely plan on working on one myself but it's not my top priority.

For a sci fi genre it's the perfect mechanism to allow you to pretty much create any kind of scenario you want by having MC travel to another world where things could be as different as you want them to be compared to the world he lives on. Basically the sci fi equivalent of magic.

I'm BEGGING for an erotic game creator where you can make male characters and have sex with them like 3D Custom Girl, Kisekae, Honey Select and Koitatsu, not just "mere self insert so the male player can imagine themselves fucking the cute big boobed animu girl", ones in which FEMALE and other male-loving players can imagine themselves being fucked or fucking the male character. I'm actually passionate about this because I'm a woman, but the porn industry pretends half of the population does not exist when it comes to consumers and woman have to turn to gay content in order to enjoy themselves. One of my life goals will definitely create a game like this after Blurry Border, even if I have to move Heaven and earth for it.

Yeah, I got over the fact that we get to play one translated game in year or 5 years, but the yaoi is localised much more often. That being said I don't have an idea, but I do want to see a reverse harem that's non existent in fp games.

A game that was recently finished Rising Bliss from Studio Mystic

brought me on an idea for something, that I would actually like to see in a VN.

Basically the same story that is told there, but from the perspective of a lesbian girl like Stella or Mei:

For short: "Rising Bliss" plays in a world, where birthrates are declining. To get a rise, the government puts some aphrodisiac in the water, that slowly makes anybody horny. An overdose of that aphrodisiac has kind of a bimbofication effect, the person gets horny and brainless. In the school, where the game plays, there are new strong rules in this school year and anybody who doesn't follow this rules will get an overdose of the aphrodisiac and be bound to a toilet for freeuse by a disciplinary commitee. In the course of the game, the effect of the aphrodisiac increases, and especially the girls get more depraved and horny. Finally the government puts a law in place, that forbids the female population any clothes. As the water is contained the aphrodisiac lets an harmless virus mutate and creates zombie like figures, who infect other people and make everybody braindead.

What I would like to see could be like the following:
Act 1: Introduction of the lesbian character, show her character, show her interacting with her girlfriend and show how the relationship breaks up and introduce other main characters.
Act 2: Would show that the lesbian character in her frustration actually joins the disciplinary comitee and starts herself forcing people to get "flesh toilets", maybe on some point even her own ex-girlfriend. She constantly questions, what she does, but finds always some explanations to do it. During that, the changes through the water contamination get more and more visible. Mostly as it is shown in the game, but also in the thoughts of the MC, who gets hornier and hornier and also starts to get interested in men, what she initially wonders about and reflects about in her thoughts. She only comes to senses about the madness of the system, when clothes for women are abolished. (end of act 2).
Act 3: She may comply to the rule, but publicly opposes it and starts to speak out against it and distribute leaflets, what makes her finally an enemy of the system and of the disciplinary comitee, who finally make herself a "flesh toilet". This process might also be reflected in her thoughts.
Act 4: It starts, when the MC unexpectedly comes to senses again. As the participants of the system see the impact of the virus, they try to create an antivirus against it. A doctor tests it on the MC (who is rightless as a flesh toilet). He wants to check, if she shows typical zombie virus effects (e.g. bite reflex), when he infects her with the virus afterwards or not. The antivirus unexpectedly restores her brain functions as a side effect (the hornyness still stays). A zombie storms in this moment into the room. The doctor injects herself the antivirus, and gets shortly after this bitten, but the antivirus fails. The doctors have only developed a antidot against an overdosis of the aphrodisiac, but not an actual antivirus. The rest of the game is the MC trying to rescue the other people from the flesh toilets (especially her ex-girlfriend) and find people (especially people she knew) who survived and to flee from the zombies into the woods, where they found a quite wild and horny commune and start to rebuild society.

I would like to see a Suikoden type of game, in a dark fantasy setting. My idea was that the mc infiltrates the imperial army, build up support and trust until he and his comrades are strong enough to face the imperial forces directly. I'd like that the mc is also at least an antihero, or even evil himself (or becomes evil, because of the things he needs to do in the war). There also should be smart, calculated and strategic decisions, like, the emporer want's the "hero" to beat an overwhelming force, in return the mc claims the emperors daughter to corrupt her, something like this. :)

Edit: in terms of synopsis, the hometown of the mc, got sacked, family killed, while he was on duty. Later down the line, he descovers, that it was a set up by the emperor to start a war or getting rid of influencial rival parties.

As a white heterosexual male I would entirely support the idea of a game with an entirely female harem! :D It would stand or fall with the story. It could be rather bland or very interesting.
There are certainly situations that would make such a situation credible in a non-cringey way.

But personally I associate sandbox with just chaos. All the sandbox games I played made the pacing of the story inconsistent and worse.
Personally, I'd call a game with multiple stories in it triggered by the player still a VN.

Fuck unnecessary grind mechanics to get to the good part. I play these kind of games for the titties and the tension!

Plot (can also be something else, my main idea was actually the 4 stats mechanics down below :)

In the quiet town, the player, a member of a covert government team, is assigned to investigate mysterious kidnappings linked to criminal activities. Alongside a trusted partner, they uncover a connection to supernatural powers. As the mission unfolds, an supervisor joins the team, guiding the investigation. Balancing combat against emerging supernatural threats, the player navigates the challenges of the mission. Tensions rise as they confront personal relationships, make pivotal choices, and work to protect the town from the shadows that threaten to engulf it.


So, in my idea, players roll with 4 secret stats. Love, Anger, Confidence, and Corruption are all under the hood, steering the story based on your choices.

  1. Love:
    • Strengthen the bond by choosing positive interactions and engaging in dates with your partner during missions.
  2. Anger:
    • Accumulate anger points through failing missions, witnessing harm to your partner, or dealing with inappropriate advances from the supervisor.
  3. Confidence:
    • Boost confidence by overcoming challenges, defeating bosses alone, and completing optional side quests successfully.
  4. Corruption:
    • Increase corruption points by using forbidden/cursed items or abilities. Peeking at the supervisor and partner getting close^^

The first concept of possible endings would look something like that

  1. Love and Anger = NTR ending:
    • The supervisor successfully steals your partner, leading to a heartbreaking ending where the player confronts the betrayal.
  2. Love and Confidence = Marriage ending:
    • The player and their partner successfully navigate the challenges, growing stronger together, and eventually, they decide to get married, achieving a happy and fulfilling ending.
  3. Love and Corruption = Cuck ending:
    • The player succumbs to the temptation of peeking on their partner and the supervisor, leading to a twisted and negative ending where trust is shattered.
  4. Anger and Confidence = Revenge ending:
    • Fueled by anger and a newfound confidence, the player seeks revenge on the supervisor, bringing justice to the situation but with potential consequences.
  5. Anger and Corruption = Psycho ending:
    • The player's anger consumes them, leading to a dark and psychotic path where they become a menace to both the supervisor and their partner.
  6. Confidence and Corruption = Ambiguous ending:
    • The player, emboldened by confidence, manipulates the situation with the supervisor, leaving the ending ambiguously powerful.
  7. Love, Anger, and Confidence = Take back ending:
    • The player, fueled by love and anger, confronts the supervisor and successfully wins back their partner, creating a triumphant and empowering ending.
  8. Love, Anger, and Corruption = Tragic ending:
    • The player, torn between love, anger, and corruption, faces a tragic conclusion where their choices lead to irreparable damage to their relationship and a sense of loss.
  9. Love, Confidence, and Corruption = Balanced ending:
    • The player manages to balance love, confidence, and temptation, leading to a more neutral and stable outcome where the relationship endures challenges.
  10. Anger, Confidence, and Corruption = Total domination ending:
    • The player, driven by a mix of anger, confidence, and corruption, becomes a dominating force, achieving control over both the supervisor and their partner, resulting in a potentially dark and authoritarian ending.
  11. Love, Anger, Confidence, and Corruption = Redemption ending:
    • The player, despite facing challenges and temptations, redeems themselves through self-discovery, forgiveness, and a renewed commitment to their partner, resulting in a positive and uplifting ending. ( I'm uncertain about that one; I'm having difficulty coming up with ideas that make sense. :D)

Mechanics and Benefits


Love:
Unlock new romantic spots and scenes that strengthen the bond with your partner. Positive actions benefit the MC, while negative actions affect the overall narrative. The focus is on narrative development and relationship building.

Anger:
Unlock new spots and scenes related to the Supervisor, emphasizing the player's growing anger and resentment. Positive actions benefit the MC, while negative actions affect the overall narrative. This stat provides opportunities for confrontation.

Confidence:
Gain combat bonuses and unlock more challenging fight scenarios as Confidence increases. Positive actions enhance the player's combat abilities and unlock personal scenes showcasing character development. This stat focuses on self-assurance and combat prowess.

Corruption:
Progress from peeking to taking pictures to recording video as Corruption increases. Unlock cursed equipment that provides powerful but tainted effects, introducing a risk-reward mechanic.
