The dash needs a fix. Its like 50/50 that tapping a shift, actually triggers dash.
I'd like to offer base gameplay feedback.
The first level is FILLED with blind leaps of faith. Please don't ever do that in a platformer ever. Every platformer since like 2000 lets your move the camera while sitting still to mitigate this. Jumping is always maximum arc always, I've not actually played a platformer which has done this before. IDK how to actually describe it but they all seem to give a lot of air control over the height of jump based on how long you hold down the jump button. a brief tap to full hold result in the same jump. If that's the vibe then sure I'll get used to it. Otherwise, the blind leaps of faith are cringe.

I played this game to fucking jack off not to do fucking parkour. I'm fucking stuck at the cave parkour where you drop you just die n start from the beginning. Dropping this game

I agree with your take on it. Just giving gnolls/spotted hyenas a human/dog dick is the lazy way of doing it.
