Not so much they fight beside you, but rather for you, but yeah basically pokemon style battles, but get pregnant mainly from being raped by tentacles when loosing, and then birth the monsters that way to fight for you.
So yeah lots of tentacles, and a fair bit of futa as well if any of that bothers you though.
Other than that part, I wouldn't say it got anything in common with Dryad Quest otherwise though
