men and woman share locker room or shower like summertime saga rpgm or renby or anything
There's actually an official rule that forbids sex in the Toro 7 shower if I remember correctly. Probably a good call for morale's sake, really -- who (other than a lot of people reading this thread) would want to get harassed when you're just trying to get clean after a long day at work? Of course, rules are made to be broken... HINT: if you play as a male protagonist and romance the Director, there's a particularly memorable shower scene on that route.https://f95zone.to/threads/toro-7-ep-5-tora-productions.111945/
Characters live on an underwater station and share a mixed shower, though very little sexual things happen in here, they just use it to... well... shower.
If I`m not mistaken, this was a self-imposed restriction after everybody was fed up with a certain couple behavior. There's actually an official rule that forbids sex in the Toro 7 shower if I remember correctly.
If it has a stable internet connection then I`m sold, and also a patch of grass so if someone told you to go and touch grass, you can do it without leaving your shower/bed/human container thing. It has everything you need...everything you could ever want. Don't wait -- preorder yours today!
Yeah, I kind of wish Sumalee was bi just so the largest number of players possible could enjoy her excellent route. On the other hand, if we want to have realistic characters in VNs it makes perfect sense that they should have sexual orientations just like real people do. Also, those orientations shouldn't change suddenly just because a dev gets an idea for a really hot scene...that's a big pet peeve of mine (though it's probably infinitely more annoying for lesbian AVN players). I like that in Toro 7 who the MC is determines who might possibly be attracted to her/him on the station and that isn't something the right set of dialogue choices can change. Doc Salas (aka the loneliest man in the galaxy) might disagree with me!Also, it's a shame that director is so straight, I always liked this character archetype.
Well, from my perspective, realism (psychological realism specifically, I doubt many people will argue that only down-to-earth mundane prose has merit) is not necessary for the narrative to be good. While I do enjoy stories that have characters built from the ground up as a realistic person and then left to react to the world, I also liked quite a few where they used as a narrative device to represent an idea, or for utility purpose or even some single trait wonders. And to be honest, characters with schrodinger's sexuality do not bother me that much as long as they stay consistent once observed. On the other hand, if we want to have realistic characters in VNs it makes perfect sense that they should have sexual orientations just like real people do.
But I do agree about consistency, a character should have a character for me to empathise. As for the lesbian novels, while there are some where it feels like you are wandering dick infested minefield, it can also be grating the other way around. Like "lesbian route" games with a girl, who started the game dreaming about dicks and pretty boys and having a husband, but then sees naked boobs and suddenly "I`m gay now, will never touch penis again". It feels less like a character progression and more like her having a brain parasite (in this case, myself). Also, those orientations shouldn't change suddenly just because a dev gets an idea for a really hot scene... that's a big pet peeve of mine (though it's probably infinitely more annoying for lesbian AVN players).
that look promising thankshttps://f95zone.to/threads/toro-7-ep-5-tora-productions.111945/

SpaceCorps XXX also features mixed showers...and you won't just come across male and female humans showering but aliens of various genders as well.
This mixed shower business is mainly a future thing, I guess. For it to make sense, it helps to have a cramped space station or ship environment combined with the more relaxed attitudes towards nudity and sexuality that we often tend to assume future societies will have. When I ponder the likely bathing practices of our intergalactic descendants, I personally tend to envision high-tech, individualized shower pods that will dry and clean themselves when you're done washing up, offer perfect privacy, and then turn themselves into sleeping quarters when you're ready to settle down for the night. These would potentially be less conducive to sexy times (well, with other people anyway) compared to a mixed shower, but just think of the space-saving possibilities they would offer! And the convenience! In practice, you might even find it's hardly ever truly necessary to leave your pod. It has everything you need...everything you could ever want. Well, it's hard to disagree with you when you put it so eloquently. I think it's just really difficult to establish any universal rules or guidelines for art. There are even ridiculous stories with shallow characters that somehow still manage to do something so interesting or compelling that you can't help but like and appreciate them for what they are even if you might think twice about recommending them to other people. Schrodinger's sexuality... I love that and will be borrowing it for sure. While I do enjoy stories that have characters built from the ground up as a realistic person and then left to react to the world, I also liked quite a few where they used as a narrative device to represent an idea, or for utility purpose or even some single trait wonders. Agreed on all counts. I think these sexuality changes in VNs often come across as if a switch has been suddenly flipped and the character does such a 180 that they're hardly even recognizable as the same person. It can feel less like, "Oh, I guess A is actually bi after all" or "A understands who she really is now" and more like "A got replaced by B." The brain parasite analogy is very apt!But I do agree about consistency, a character should have a character for me to empathise. It's still in the idea phase right now, but I'll add you to the waiting list. The world may never be the same once I get this thing perfected!brother are you working on a new shower
hibernation device pod and where tf do i sign to get one
I only played Toro but I did like all the characters a lot and also the setting, a small station deep in space, suspended kilometers underwater in a mostly sterile ocean with only a tether as a connection to humanity really hammers down the isolation aspect.I think Tlaero understands this really well. All manner of wild and improbable events can happen in her stories, but her characters always come across like real people who think, feel, and respond to the events and other characters in the story in plausible, consistent ways.
Some games have elements of it, like Say It Again, where MC starts thinking she's straight but then realized that she never liked being with men in retrospect, also, Butterfly Soup has the main character realizing her sexuality in the background. I cannot recall anything that focuses on this aspect though, I guess it would be too niche thing in an already niche genre.Do you know of any VNs that have managed to do this in a satisfying way?
Totally. I'm not sure I would have had the idea to compound the isolation the way Tlaero did. Being in outer space isn't enough...you're in an extremely isolated place under another extremely isolated place. It's very evocative and gives the game a really unique, lonely atmosphere. Luckily, if the isolation ever gets too much the mixed shower is always around to provide company, camaraderie, and cleanliness (we are so, so on topic right now!).I only played Toro but I did like all the characters a lot and also the setting, a small station deep in space, suspended kilometers underwater in a mostly sterile ocean with only a tether as a connection to humanity really hammers down the isolation aspect.
Thanks!! I actually have Say It Again downloaded and ready to play already because someone else whose opinion I trust recommended it a while back. I've been putting off playing it largely because I've had very mixed experiences with kinetic novels in the past, but a lot of people seem to think it's well written which is exactly what a KN really needs to be above all else. Some games have elements of it, like Say It Again, where MC starts thinking she's straight but then realized that she never liked being with men in retrospect, also, Butterfly Soup has the main character realizing her sexuality in the background. Thanks, I`m going to check this later, and for once it is also a completed game.Have you not played Life Changes for Keeley yet? If not, you definitely should.
I`m not really into maintaining lists and didn't play that many games. Also, when it comes to lesbian titles, I think CboyC95 already doing a good job, so I prefer to add my two cents once in a while.Have you ever considered creating your own rec thread?
