maybe they meant on this thread, since its a list thread and we just dont know what game is what without opening the specific game thread first
Ah, I see. But then we can demand that each tag or characteristic that we don't like be singled out. Personally, I'm more concerned about other things that I find disgusting (like games that are closer to pedophilia than to adult themes), but that's no reason to introduce new classifications.

Expecting someone to redo a list that has been ongoing for 5 years is unrealistic and won't happen.

Right now it's just a matter of having the search saved with filters for "gay". To redo it, you'd have to go through every game on the list and remove those that are ai. At that point you might as well restart the entire list.

Essentially: use the search and filter to things you want. Then favourite that search (the filtered tags stay).

Someone should've put this on the list or make a thread for it
It's called Moontouched by S.Anime, found this out because i browse reddit

It's furry and more bara-like, bunch of the characters sadly didn't turn me on, but holy shit the graphics are amazing, this is probably one of the best looking VN i've ever seen, the sprite moves, the ear moves, even eye movements has its own cg, the ui looks good, the CG is mix between 2D and 3d.
I think Eldet by Marccus came close sadly it got into production hell

So I occasionally look in on ‘male protagonist’ games not tagged as gay because it can be nice to watch a straight guy getting off (solo or in female company) – as long as they’re not represented solely by a disembodied penis (between two zeppelins) or a detached hand (“Thank you, Thing”). Maybe it’s a voyeur thing.

I came across an entry on Itcho tagged ‘LGBT’ (but not specifically gay), but still may find a place on this list:

A compelling story involving mysterious mental powers and some very strange goings on in a school setting. The protagonist is apparently comfortably hetero but watches straight, gay or trans porn (player’s choice) without a flicker of conflict (and brings us along for the ride); tries out anal toys with great success (and brings us along for the ride); has no problem teasing his straight male friends in Truth or Dare; those straight friends do such a weak job of homosexual panic you wonder why they bother. He has brains, spunk, agency and uh, spunk.

Interesting game mechanic with stats for libido, discipline and morality, increased by gameplay that has an impact on story.

Lesbians fully represented, complex social issues engaged. Starts out relatively light but goes into quite dark areas. The kinks are many.

Worst element: the guy’s haircut.

Does anyone have texthooker program that can read Funa Cinque III games?

I always uses Textractor but it doesn't work on this game.

The game has potential, but it's not being used. Because many people think that gay content is negative and doesn't bring any money.

Undercover Pop Games
Edgefield,
is doing it right and in the future the game will be very good, with a lot of gay/bi.... content as well.

I certainly hope it finds the audience it deserves. thus my mentioning it here, even though it may not strictly fit the profile. As you say, there are plenty of comments hereabouts complaining about even being given the /possibility/ of non-hetero activity. Even worse, the main character is given equal attention as the rest of the (mostly) female cast (naked sexed-up screen time, that is). It seems to me those scenes are plot-driven and consequential (e.g., sister opens the door while he's thumping it, consuences ensue, which means the story needs to show him thumping it). But I could be entirely biased. Heh.

I have Edgefield, it looks like fun! Interesting comparison. The author(s) have taken on quite a challenge, seems like quite a lot of material will be needed to cover the number of possible branchings.
