Recommending Gay Protagonist Games List

Hey nacked, since you linked this I just thought I would ask, do you know if there is a decent walkthrough for any of the Sirius Summer games, particularly volume 1? I got it on itch and I found a very vague walkthrough that is kind of difficult to follow. The game itself is just insanely hard to follow because I know the Chinese characters for "shi" and "bu" to reply yes and no but that's about it

Is your difficulty due to not understanding Chinese (You can use Translator++/Textractor), or the game itself is super vague that basically need walkthru to play? Like "My Soldier" - also a Chinese game - maybe it's not intentional by the devs, but a culture barrier thing
IIRC someone said they are making fan-translations, so maybe they'll also get hands on a walkthru?
Yeah, it's from not being able to speak or read much Chinese. No matter what I am sure the choices make more sense than they do in some of coolpeng's games though lol

There's a decent walkthrough in Chinese. Not sure how helpful it's going to be for you though. I do agree that the base game is pretty impossible to beat without luck/trial & error. Although the choices makes sense (after you understand the full story), a lot of time the player can't make the right choice unless they are at the right place and time. It's kinda realistic in a way, chance encounters and all that, but it's definitely makes beating the game frustrating without a guide. In addition, a lot of routes are locked until behind other route (some options don't even exist unless you beat certain routes).
By the way, does anyone here have the link for the Christmas and Halloween edition of Sirius summer?

Do you have said Chinese walkthrough to share? That'll be much easier to translate via google or something. I used lots of Japanese walkthrough this way in the past to play Japanese games.
About the "difficulty", I mean that's one of essences of these type of game, you need to trigger specific flags / accumulate points to achieve different scenes. Trial & errors are build in. Some games don't even let you proceed before you did some "bad ends".
Coolpeng's games are totally different, with nearly no in-game clues / can't even proceed with Trial & errors, almost like on purpose, so you basically "need" to buy their overpriced walkthrough
Here you go. It's a bit sparse, so if you have problem understanding it, feel free to ask. I managed to complete the game fine with this (but I can read chinese, so).
I guess I'm more used to visual novel without random encounters. There's a lot of locations you could visit and you basically have to go to the right places in order to beat a route (but the game doesn't really tell you where to go).
