I'm currently encoding all 4k animations from Patreon, would anyone be interested in a download when I'm done? Currently ~70% encoded and I'm seeing file size reductions from 50% to 90% without rescaling and noticeable loss of quality:

Finally finished encoding all of the 4K Patreon files which took like 4 days to do. Here is some info on much space you can save:

- Total Size (Original): 28.15GB
- Total Size (Encoded): 10.33GB

Statistics on size savings if you like math:
- Max: 1.59GB
- Min: 585.69KB
- Average: 160.49MB
- Q1: 44.04MB
- Median: 114.68MB
- Q3: 227.53MB
- Standard Deviation: 192.19MB

Encoding information:
- Video: x265 (libx265), pixel format: yuv420p10le (10bit), Quality ranges from crf 18 to 26, some have SAO disabled but most have it on limited, preset is of course slow
- Audio: Opus (libopus), ~196K with VBR
- Container: MP4 with "+faststart" flag

Most of the files above 120MB were encoded really well, the only trouble makers were files under 100MB and the "Cammy X Poison" video which was just way too complex and took like 4 attempts (each took 1 hour to encode).

Notice for people who don't often deal with encodings or have never seen them:
The counterpart to encoding is decoding which comes into play if you want to playback/view the file. Depending on the encoder used you might run into some issues with your media player if it does not the specific codec. H.265 or HEVC, as it is sometimes called, is not supported everywhere especially in browsers. If you run into playback issues I recommend getting another player like MPV or VLC as well as the K-Lite Codec Pack.
