IIRC, you can push the bridge fight in a stalemate, but the events will still play in the same fashion as if you "lost", with those heroes arriving to take care of the monster. The cave fight you can win, it opens a few options about how to deal with the monster you beat there. It has been a while since I last played part 1 so take this with a grain of salt.
I haven't played this in a while and I didn't expect the Part 2 intro to casually drop the bombshell that Kate isn't the MC's sister. I get that this was because of Patreon's demands, but the change was enough for me not to continue with Part 2. It would be nice if this game had an incest patch, but I understand why it doesn't .

Wouldn't really need one, to be honest, you could easily kind of circumvent it by asking at the beginning "Kate is my ___" (default: neighbor) and then just let the player fill in what they want it to be.
You'd need to add something to the code that corrects capitalization where appropriate though, because that can sometimes be a little jarring.

True, it feels like Part 2 is set up so Kate could be a half-sister with some text changes. I still enjoy Part 1, so I'll probably keep an eye on this. Who knows, maybe we will get the option to make Kate blood related (like in Part 1) in the future.
That makes sense. I wouldn't want the dev getting kicked off Patreon or anything. Though it still is a bit odd that Part 1 gives the option for blood relation but Part 2 doesn't.
Just finished part 1, man, it's been sour-sweet, on one hand I feel like most charcacters are somewhat if not downright stupid *stares at Adam*, with some moments that I just didn't like or get like:
On the other hand, I've binged this part of the game during this game and I will do it again to try other routes, like a full vigilante one (didn't steal Whisp, just didn't feel right, for example, and I think I missed Karma's talking to her), or a Hero/True Hero one. The scenes have been enjoyable, the relationships with the girls have quite nice (except for some communication problems), and the story seems promising. And I really liked the prison-school for lost monster girls too, seems like a decent character development facility, lots of headpats to give and possibly a future refuge.
