In short: I think Takamakuran did a great job with this game, and it's also one of the games I've supported financially. I'd like to do another translation, which hasn't been done yet, and therefore translate it into German. In addition to the most important work on the Japanese/English-to-German translation, other aspects will also be incorporated. This one-man project aims to combine all of this into one.

Which means that missing content within the dialogue should feel more alive, i.e., what the main character is thinking, for example, is portrayed in a more realistic way. This is intended to allow for a deeper immersion in this world.

But also the integration of missing sprites such as missing animation of doors (Video has been added, see below).

What could also help this project, however, is active feedback from the community. This way, even deliberately strange events that are declared as non-bugs can be preserved. An example of this would be the moving tree in "Woods 2." For keeping or not keeping the names of the protagonists, I've created a poll:

Kurz gesagt: Ich finde, Takamakuran hat mit diesem Spiel großartige Arbeit geleistet, und es ist auch eines der Spiele, die ich finanziell unterstützt habe. Da für die Deutschsprachler bisher keine Deutsche Version des Spiels existiert möchte ich diese ausarbeiten. Neben der Hauptarbeit an der Japanisch/Englisch zu Deutsch-Übersetzung werden auch andere Aspekte einbinden. Dieses Ein-Mann-Projekt zielt darauf ab, all dies zu einem Ganzen zu vereinen.

Das bedeutet, dass fehlende Dialoginhalte lebendiger wirken sollen, d. h., die Gedanken der Hauptfigur werden beispielsweise entsprechend auch so dargestellt. Dies soll ein tieferes Eintauchen in diese Welt ermöglichen.

Aber auch die Integration fehlender Sprites, wie z. B. fehlender Animationen von Türen (Video wurde hinzugefügt, siehe unten).

Was diesem Projekt jedoch auch helfen könnte, ist aktives Feedback aus der Community. So können auch absichtlich seltsame Ereignisse, die als Nicht-Bugs deklariert werden, erhalten bleiben. Ein Beispiel hierfür wäre der sich bewegende Baum in „Wald (2. Abschnitt)“. Um die Namen der Protagonisten beizubehalten oder nicht, habe ich eine Umfrage erstellt:

Roadmap / Project status:
The project has now reached the stage where all in-game text has been translated. I'm currently checking it for spelling errors. At the same time, I'm investigating how the project can be uploaded. A large portion of the missing pointers to various references to items, for example, have also been taken into account. I frequently test the game directly during implementation to be able to immediately fix any game errors or even crashes. The latter hasn't occurred yet. Since "Umlauts" like "ö","ä","ü","ß" are often used in German, they lead to UTF8 errors within the programming software, so I decided to rewrite them so that it remains error-free. This means that it cannot be read as usual, but it prevents the mentioned potential error.

Added quite a sum of new implemented translated maps (see changelog). Many new pointers has been added and ongoing.

Added more MAP-Translations even the emotionally difficulty ones, but sadly not much due to 10h paving-work.

  • Demon Village INN Condition fixed, Attending Traveling Merchant at street [fixed],
  • hidden passage in sewers 1 (is with fixed version still available even there is nothing to get like treasure chests or enemies) [changed/fixed],
  • conversation at the field of mercy about bandit fortress invasion [fixed],
  • Tile fixing will from now on be made with tile numbers instead of events,
  • Minor other fixes,
