Pessimistic attitude isn't always a depression. I've seen enough solo projects fueled by patreon or other funding platforms, and I've seen most of them dying by running out of ideas / funds, so I'm prepared that it might happen again. Until then, I'll enjoy what I have now.
It's just an expression to say something gave you depression
"I stubbed my toe, I'm so depressed."
"I died on the final boss, I have crippling depression" et cetera

It's not a novel thought, scope creep has been the second biggest issue for crowdfunded projects like this ever since online crowdfunding became a thing. People like to bitch about publishers and shareholders forcing devs to ship unfinished games but if it weren't for them this would've been the norm (and that's if you're lucky and the game doesn't get abandoned).

I also don't get the complaints, the devs have a steady release schedule and have nearly doubled their output ever since they put guest characters on hold. It's not perfect but the situation is far better than most patreon games where the release schedule is whenever the devs feel like doing an update. It's also a bit silly to complain about the size/speed of updates for a game you don't even pay for (and if you do, why are you complaining about it on a pirate site?)
I don't pay for it *because* there's no incentive to finish it (that and the fact they want $10 bucks a month just to access the current patch only). If the game ever finishes and they're not charging an unreasonable sum for it I'd gladly buy it, but yeah no sorry, not dropping that much cash on an incomplete (and likely never to be complete) game.
Baldur's Gate 3, to use an example may have done an early access run for full price, but once you dropped that price you had the whole game, including all future updates+finished product. Lethal Company is presently in early access, but it's only $10 bucks as a one-time purchase for the game and all future updates.
If a person was paying every month for every patch for this game and nothing more, they'd be set back $360 dollars for a game that's still not complete. My previous example, BG3 finished in just under three years.
So frankly, a better question is why are you defending them so hard?

I kinda hope we can do some kind of sneaking through the castle to acquire an item for Croixelles route since we have no magic, no giantess can’t detect us…

The only approach i see fair right now is to sub once for 10 bux and then unsub immediately for a few years. That means you will "buy" the current build for 10$, and then buy the next one later, instead of paying for nothing. Or you can just sit in f95. For me personally, 10$ just for a game build is a bit greedy, especially on the contrast of 5$ that just gives you discord access or something like that.

That'd be fun, like how Pyeka has us sneaking into manors to drug nobles.
Yep! a mission of sneaking around the castle…On a mission for Croixelle… and we end up in some place (your choice)…(preferably involving the Queen Hahaha)… and given the option to get the item Croixelle needs/wants or steal something… perverted for selfish desires (or something else entirely)…

Am I? My first paragraph was a critique of the funding model they use because of how easily it can lead to scope creep and project abandonment. If I didn't have any qualms with how they're funding GG's development I'd be discussing the game on their discord instead of here. I'm just giving some perspective, most people would kill for their favorite niche porn game to get updates as consistently and as frequently as GG does.

It's not like I have exact numbers, but I'm sure that GG's budget might allow some more devs to get involved. For coding at least, since adding new writer mid development will mark the change of writing style. Just one guy that will fix typos, work on technical stuff, like chosing where and which sprite should be used, how would they move and all that. I really don't get why they won't find someone. Perhaps they don't want to share their income?

Hello, my first post on this thread and also the website as a whole, been following this game on here since 0.1.5 and have been just watching from the shadows all this time. Finally decided to post something and maybe be a little more active in the community. With that out of the way, here, this is my tier list of the characters from this VN

The programming would at worst only be an afternoon's worth of work for each update. The only bottleneck is the artwork, if the devs want to increase output then that's what they'd need to address.

One of your high tiers is not like the others, it's not often you see Nyxmay that high up.

Yeah, Nyxmay is crazy like the other girls from Homaspernia, but she's like, the good type of crazy? Also she seems to really care for the MC.

IMO Naya is quite good, she doesn't do bad things on purpose, and while she may be a little...ummm...dumb? and way too horny at times, Her route for the most part is alright.

Aside from several stat checks where she just kills you, if you didn't shove your tongue into her asshole deep enough.
You don't even need to disobey or insult her, she just kills you. :HideThePain:
