thx man i am new ti this game stuff what is difference here 377 has exact same storyline so far. home being crashed by kendra i thought it will be completely new story continuation of previous one. am i missing somethimg?
No, it's a continuation of 2 routes (Makla and Timfalme). Each patch extends 2 to 3 routes by a bit (until the dreaded To Be Continued screen pops up).
to me Kemono doesn't work for some reason, could someone make another download if they can please?
"Guest" characters from my understanding were all OCs of other people not part of the team, I've heard something about one of them (can't recall which character(s) it was for them) going awol and simply poofing on everyone, where I figure the others were a matter of wanting to ensure people who made the OCs wouldn't come at them for a cut of revenue later (the sort of nonsense that happens far too often).Good time of being to all people of culture gathered here, guided by one idea - love for giantesses!
I discovered the amazing world of "Giant Guardians" relatively recently and completely by accident, thanks to one site that allows you to get acquainted with visual novels and other video games in advance.
I have not been so captivated by reading a visual novel for a long time. I fell asleep with thoughts about what I had read and woke up with thoughts about it, I thought about it during my physical training at home, while eating and while working.
I learned about this site a few days ago and I became curious to read the discussions here about this visual novel: at the moment I have read all the comments from the first page to the two hundred and twenty inclusive (I will continue to read).
And I learned something unexpected and new for myself, I read busy hypotheses about certain events of the lore, the actions of the characters and their reasons.
I also learned that in the past this novel had about fifteen more giantesses (approximately) and short routes with them in the main story, then they were moved to the "guest" category. The development of these routes was suspended, and then they were completely "cut" (I believe for an indefinite time).
Is there any reliable information about the reasons for this decision?
What surprised me most was the information that despite the presence of such an ambitious project, the developers decided to simultaneously make another game about giantesses... I don't know all the details, but it seems to me that this decision is destructive for "Giant Guardians" and adds to the likelihood of developer burnout, decreased productivity in terms of releasing updates and fixes/improvements for "Giant Guardians".

Exactly. I also think that Nyxmay gets her arousal and satisfaction from the process of sadism towards small living creatures. Blood doesn't play a special role in this. And if my memories are not distorted, I also correctly understood the description of what was happening, the blood that arose during sadistic games was absorbed by Nyxmay through her skin.
Also in Eliette's route there was a description of the brutal massacre of orcs in neutral territories and the fact that Nyxmay was covered in blood and enjoyed what was happening, but not a word about her drinking blood and satisfying her hunger.
Moreover, we never saw Nyxmay exhausted, needing to drink blood, there was not even a mention of her feeding on blood (maybe I missed something?).
I assumed another version, that the guys with a paid subscription, who offered "guest" characters, stopped their sponsorship, maybe one of them had disagreements with the developer, the characters were not updated for a long time and then they decided to temporarily remove them from the main game. My guesses, one of. I don't know what happened there and how in reality.
By the way, I recently began my acquaintance with the "guest" characters and ... while reading the main novel, I sometimes wondered whether there could be real sexual relations between giantesses, and without the participation of tiny ones, only two giantesses (or maybe three) or are they still genetically programmed to want direct participation in the near-sexual games of tiny men? And then I find myself in unexpected events: a giant cat and a dragoness raise a "yuri flag" in a cave, while the MC is used in the most unique way (I have never seen this in the main story and did not even think about such an option) to become a kind of replacement for a dildo for both giantesses at the same time...

And in the future, there is generally an opportunity to simply become an observer of how the "yuri affairs" between the cat and the spirit-possessed kitsune simply happen next to the MC (if you refuse to actively participate)..
I have only just begun to get acquainted with the "guest" characters, but I already like them and I am interested in these stories.
In my opinion, this does not look like some kind of fan craft based on the main novel. I learned something complementary to the main story and have already met familiar characters such as Madea and Regina.
My point is that these look and feel like routes no worse than the ones in the main novel. They could have added to the story and helped us better understand the world of this novel and its inhabitants.

i get it thx. I played last time maryen route only. today i managed cowgirl and princess routes and continue sheina route . its a pity that princess route did not had more sex involved i think princess was the best route(sexiest character in the game) so far and it would be also tempting to have QUEEN route that would be excellent I am sure.

where do you see nyxmax route bro? I havent seen such possibility its later in sheina route? thats the one I am in now.
Yeah, those people's OCs (original characters). Exactly what I was talking about. It was from early on in the process and a few of them went awol entirely so they didn't get updated as iirc they wanted to ensure it fit with the characters, but... oh well. Seinaru I probably the one character I wanted more, whereas Harumunia(?) was the one I liked least. (The constant cringe tier amount of saying "nya" every other word was too much), plus it felt a bit forced/made the player more a third wheel almost as if the MC was intruding on their relationship than anything (rather than being all REEEE about a FF couple) and I just didn't like the MC inserting (literally
) into their dynamic.But the aspect of MC being able to get stronger to where at least a mere "oops" isnt a game over with even the weakest of giantess is something it was doing that is really lacking in the game. Not even remotely thinking about flipping the game's entire dynamic on its head, but that the player is vulnerable to even other random smalls and monsters is disappointing. Magic roids basically seems to be about it (with of course, muh consequences).
I leave a link to the manual, it is of course outdated (0.3.69 version), but nevertheless it cannot be called useless, because there is a useful base and communication understanding of what and how affects in general, where the transitions to the routes and to which ones.

You just need to think logically and think in advance about what you need to do to get to the desired route.
For example, if you want to get to the Nyxmay route, then you need to make sure that Kendra takes you with her at the very beginning, but does not get too attached to you (interest), and when Nyxmay appears, you need to make sure that she becomes interested in you and ask her for help later. If you do everything correctly, she will take you with her.
Having an idea of what is happening, you can read the routes in different ways, experimenting and thereby getting all the content available in the novel. Save each time with a new slot when the election appears.

Yeah, I don't think that part is ever changing and it wouldn't make sense in lore anyway: a normal human is never doing anything against creatures that weigh several hundred tons with magic or otherwise.
I don't think this is completely true, the MC can fight his way through a slaver hideout, beat (weakened) vampires and save that one shroom lady. It's pretty hard to have a comparatively strong mc without breaking the "no magic" rule which makes him a desirable mate for a lot of giantesses (not contaminating their offspring's magic power).
Also, isn't Makla and Helga's routes supposed to be the "training arc" routes? Where they both work on making him stronger physically at least. (Makla even feeds you weird blood steroids).
I wasn't calling for that though. I was saying akin to when Seinaru in her now "guest" route and was giving MC training to where he wouldn't be insta crushed by even the slightest but of force.
The power disparity with the giantess is a key aspect of the game, was thinking more the whole constant mere accidental things being more viable to survive/avoid

Think the issue with making the MC strong/athletic in Eliette's route specifically is twofold:
1. His leg is hurt in that route, so even if he wanted to get stronger by training or whatnot that fact would make it severely difficult and would actually probably make his situation worse.
2. If he were to be strong enough at a level that he could just avoid Eliette's lifethreatening accidents, the trigger for her evil/toxic subroute wouldn't happen because that wouldn't make him doubt that she is trying to kill him under the guise of "accidents".
So that route would have to be considerably rewritten to fit in that concept.
I'm very interested in seeing a route where the MC fights in the Timfalman army alongside Helga though, that seems like a neat concept for her route.
