Don't expect it to improve in performance much beyond this point. Destruction physics the way it does it is fundamentally very heavy to compute. There are ways to get it faster but those aren't available to this game as it made the Unreal Engine thematic choice of using discrete and unique geometry for every single mesh in the game so it all has to be simulated to be destructible.

why is there no buildings? and stuff? all I can see is just ocean and street textures but thats it. how can I fix this
I can play games fine smh, this is probally the only game I'm having graphical issues in. I can play this game on the max settings but the buildings and stuff won't load upon spawn.At the moment it is what it is. Optimization is improving to be fair I last played on v27 and havent tried the v28 build yet, so maybe its better. v23 was virtually unplayable for me, so it IS improving (mind you, my rig was a top rig FIVE YEARS AGO).
But this "game" is effectively alpha/early beta builds. I think some are expecting a fully finished/polished product, which is definitely NOT what you should be expecting atm, and to be honest a bit silly considering the dev has been fully transparent about the game being still developed. Support is to be able to play existing builds. Its as close to a closed beta/alpha as you can get.
Maybe end of year it will be more playable for those with specs below what I run, but the person above complaining about it not running on an INTEL graphics chip? lmao half the games on this website won't run on that.

After trying out version 3.0, I can report that the performance has improved dramatically. In version 2.5, I could barely run it, but in version 3.0, it runs at a much better speed with graphic quality set to Low. There are still a few bugs remaining, mainly the character often getting stuck when walking into buildings and some objects not falling when walked over, but it is much better now than it was earlier this year.
If anyone was holding off on playing this because of how slow it was in previous versions, give this newest update a try. It runs much better than before.
