I kinda think so based on the fact that Kuina doesn't want to talk about it, and this is not the first time I've read some alternate scenario in which Kuina replaces Zoro in the story- is just in that story Zoro is confirmed dead, so I just assumed it is here as well.

Two bugs so far: eating apple during the first fight stops you from taking any action. Second, Kuina's massage voice is apparently not affected by "voice" settings. I'd prefer it without the voices, unless you can somehow use snippets of Japanese VA clips just for effects. (Rukia from Bleach for Kuina? Who knows.)
Another major one: you can't actually go to the second page of saves if you want load; works in neither title nor in-game menu.

Even with not a ton of content being here, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
Though I do wish there was more to do on the ship, as after you've seen the few talking interactions with Kuina.
All there is to do is to skip to night for the message part.
Also am I correct in assuming the devs are non native English speakers? Cuz some of the sentences in game are a bit funky.
