I will address your points one by one below
It was a simple general perspective of someone who played this game with several years of interval.
Fair enough but as I said, vague statements especially when they are not true when you said stuff like no content was added etc are just not helpful. Detailed like this post is much more helpful.
But if you are interested in constructive and more concrete feedback and to stay coherent to what i said already, the point that for me seems the weakest, is the everyday gameplay cycle.
here's what Sveta life looks like :
16 or 17 years old
live with her parents
has two siblings
and has grandparents living in a near small village
go to college for at least one more year
All true but the last part, she goes to secondary school or in some countries would be called high school. College aka Uni comes in the second year of the game and takes place in the city which is what we are focusing on the most right now.
need to win her own pocket money for hygiene and style
That's the base of the game : direct family, extended family, school and part time job. That's what Sveta will be dealing with every day.
This is helpful as it explains what you mean by "base" game, before it could have meant any number of things. Especially since we have different starts, some of which skip the whole first year and family content and starts in the city. So you can see why saying base game wasn't helpful.
Problem is that most of those offer either no content, like the grand parents and their village, or very few content like the mother and the sister, or a short and linear arc like the brother and the father in law (you try to seduce them or nothing happens).
The grandparents and the village is all old original ETO content that has never really been done to much with. We have had a few people work on it but they all poofed before really doing much.
The sister has a fair bit especially when you add in the Rex party content which is being revamped and as I mentioned to someone else likely won't make this release but hopefully next. The family is being worked on, but half the people working on the family left and the other half has had a lot of RL stuff going on and her time is very limited so the family has not gotten a lot of new stuff. Some new bio dad and brother stuff, a little sister stuff etc but not a lot of late.
I will say the school though has by far the most content in the whole game. There is likely as much content in the pav school as the rest of the game combined.
Regarding the jobs. I don't have the stat but i guess the vast majority of players start with the hair salon where absolutely nothing happens, and the clinic cleaning where absolutely nothing happens. Then there was an interestting tentative with the waitress job at her mother place after she witness her cheating with her boss, but that was really barebones and almost nothing happens.
I have no clue what the most common job is, but at a guess by comments on our discord I would say it is likely modeling.
Then you have the Hotel job that is obviously the one where work has been put, but, nothing really happens in there if you don't play Sveta in a very straightforward way to say the least, like : "you see a man bounded to his bed with an erection. What do you do ? A/ you give him a blowjob B/ a Handjob C/ you leave" Those are not very subtle fillers (you even have access to those options when your morality is still very high). There is one thing to do in the hotel but it's only if you want to prostitute Sveta, so that's quite specific. The other thing is to be able to work as a personal maid for a rich family but it's for when you stop school.
Most of the jobs are just there for you to earn money to do other stuff. They are not really designed to be story arcs, they have some small events to make them more interesting but that is not their intent. In depth jobs are planned but not at this time. Some of the jobs like the maid job is designed to be done after Pav School and they tend to have more content because you don't have the pav school to attend.
While living with your parents in pavlovsk the school is the main hub for content, that is a design choice.
The mailman job has some okayish event and some very wtf ones, but it doesn't go very far anyway.
As mentioned above most of the part time jobs are not meant to be indepth game play hubs, that is what the school is for. They are just there to earn money to be able to afford to do stuff and we add in some events to make them a little more interesting instead of just clicking work and getting paid.
After said that, for me the most important is to improve the gameplay loop regarding all of this while keeping in mind the point of the game. There are 3 main approach for this game : either Sveta is a slut from the start, some players don't care about the corruption they just want the sexy content now, or Sveta is slowly corrupted (which means she's not corrupted to begin with), and the last one is Sveta never slutify. But it's still a porn game so if Sveta doesn't fall for corruption, and therefore doesn't go after the sex content, then the sex content has to come to her (forced content)
There is many ways beyond just three to play. I know we have people that play the ugly duckling start just so they can do the ugly to beautiful trope. Some play to be sluts, some to be corrupted, some want to see how long they can stay pure, some go for slutting it up as much as they can without become a outcast slut, dancing that line.
GL has no one way to play, it is designed for the player to pick how they want to play and then see how it goes. GL is very much a sandbox, we provide the tools and lots of small content of a wide variety and then it is up to the player to make their story and live the life of Sveta aka the MC. Think of it like a text based porn parody of The Sims and that is basicly what GL is and is designed to me.
What could improve this gameplay loop ? random events are always welcome, other than that you have long term objectives. If you are loyal enough they may recruit you as hairdresser at the salon, and it could open things to new events. At the clinic she could get seduced by doctors or harassed by patients etc whatever, there could be something good for her to win in return. Maybe a job promise as nurse for exemple or just some good pocket money.
I will comment more on jobs at the end.
The point is to always give the player the impression that what he's doing as a purpose to not make him feel that he's reach
a wall in term of concrete content.
So i think there need to be big long term Arks added to the main npc (family etc) and better and more subtle job system to keep the day to day gameplay relatively fresh and even enjoyable on the long run.
Most of the big story arcs are part of the pav school and pav school kids not the family. More of that is coming, more Anya aka sister stuff is almost done and a complete revamp of her party story arc is nearly done, though I doubt it makes this release, because of RL of the person writing it as mentioned already.

It was easy enough to understand.
So some comments so you better understand what is going on with the game and why.
We have a long term over all roadmap. We are basically building the game in stages with different focuses, as we go broken up by years of the game, but that doesn't mean we don't work on stuff early or later. So in year 1 focus we still do other stuff for the other years but the main focus will be on what that year is.
So the roadmap is
Year 1 - Pav school, school kids, random events around Pav, family
Year 2 - transition to the uni, some of the pav kids stories updated and then moved to the uni, adding in degree's classes etc and filling out the uni
Year 3 - focus on filling out the uni, more classes, degree's, and expanding the uni students/professors story arcs
Year 4 - Same as year 3 only adding to the next year
Year 5 - Same as above.
Year 6 - Post school years, either post Uni or post pav if the Uni is skipped, main focus will be on expanding the jobs, giving them a lot more depth, adding NPC's to them that you can do story arcs with etc
Year 7 - Long term relationship, marriage, furthering career/job
Year 8 - Starting a family of your own, having kids and expanding career/job
The years are years of the game, not years we are working on it, long term we are looking at GL to take 8+ in game years to play eventually.
We are currently working on year 2 of the above. So of the things you are asking for only the family is a priority at the moment and it is slow going, but as I said that is mainly because the two people working on the family have had real life issues, one left the team and the other has very limited time.
Myself I mostly work on the pav school, pav school kids, uni, uni school kids. Different writers focus on different stuff, but because we do this for free in limited free time. Most people do what they have idea's and passion for, because it is fun that way and doesn't feel like work. Which means unlike many games with a patreon and the devs do them for a living, we have a much more shotgun approach and stuff gets added each release that someone had a good idea for and wrote it for fun.
So all I can say is what you are asking for will be added, though the indepth job stuff not for some time and the family stuff is just slow going at the moment.
