That was fixed for the bug fix release, that and the missing images. Which version are ye using?

You could marry the random lovers but I'm not sure you can now that content has been re-worked. None of the unique npcs have marriage content and it s unlikely to happen for some time. The therapist is probably going to be first, but that will be a bad end.

You can technically marry the therapist already. Or at least sign the marriage certificate at his hotel room and be moved into there as your residence. Though I think Hidden has said they want to add an official wedding ceremony in the future. Also, as far as I understand from what devs have said, marrying him doesn't trigger the bad end (unless that is something they didn't mention or plan to add), what triggers the bad end is giving birth to his child.

I never played magic start, mainly because originally the reason I was attracted to the game was it's real girl life sim qualities, and magic just seemed too far out there.

some quality of life improvements with spells and a few other things which i will not go into to avoid spoilers. there is no real downsides to magic as of this moment, consider it is more a game plus some optional extras. i am currently reworking magic content o' the game and i hope to start introducing new content in the next few releases with new lore and characters.

Right now, it helps you keep healthy via "Cure disease", keep a good appereance via "Shower", "Cosmetica" and "Makeup", boost your lookings via "Glaomur", and become the rapists terror if you cast "Berserker rage" right before take a walk in the park at night; combine it with "Stun" and there's no way you can't loose.
Is there a roadmap or schedule where those changes can be followed? It's only for me to rant against those not of my likings.

I am going to slightly disagree with hooded. There is a downside at the moment and that is inconsistency. Right now magic is not seeding everywhere. Meaning that could be places you would want to use magic and can't because it is not a option. There is not a lot of that but there is some of it.

Honestly I always ignored the magic side completely and have no idea, why it is even in the game when the rest is pretty much a "realistic" albeit exaggerated setting.
