mentioned above, canals is a new transport option. it is supposed to connect as an alternative route to areas within the city and the new artisan quarter which currently is planned to have the mariinsky theatre and vaganova ballet school that was deferred from the current release. it will also be a potential date location and meeting spot for npcs in future.

i'm not sure if this bug is repeatable, but i've discovered that Sveta can make infinite free money from the lifeguard job due to an error in how the actions are set up. currently, at the end of the shift, the player can use the Leave action to collect their wages - however, they can also press Leave again to trigger another instance of collecting the wages. zero time passes and this can be repeated infinitely. my guess without looking at the code is that the Continue action isn't nested properly.

injecting a *clr & cla into line 160 of the pav_pool_lifeguard location fixes this. small oversight.

Is there any plan for something like escorting or a legal brothel? I feel the sauna is really difficult to actually open up, and the hotel and massage parlour are a bit too dated in how non-dynamically they treat the sexual encounters. I suppose the ideal would be extending hornguy's sex system to a job in a new red light district building. Escorting would probably be simpler, since the sugar daddy system is already basically a version of that you can get with just one person (but could form the base for paid encounters after advertising yourself on the internet).

On another note, I imagine you can only contract one shoot per week as a pornstar for balance reasons, but that seems very unrealistic. Pornstars usually work pretty much daily over usually shorter periods of time (like a few years of doing 20 shoots a month). The real bottleneck there should be how much studios are interested in shooting scenes with you, though I suppose that would require an overhaul that's not timely right now.

Irrelevant to the above thoughts, what are the long-term plans with the newly added canals?

For the porn work it is a combo of balance and realism. In real life some might get several gigs in one week then nothing for weeks or even months. So as a simple way to have what our research showed was the average for a up and coming porn star was about once a week and it works well for money balance as well.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't realize you were going for realism with it (since I am also strongly inclined to favour realism I can't complain. Still, I think there should be some way to access the sauna that does not involve being trafficked or blackmailed for a few months, for example through mutual acquaintances, someone you meet at the club or disco or something like that. As far as I know the only way to do this is through the two guys you can meet at the city park cafe, but that quest is a bit over the top).

I think the way porn work is currently balanced (As far as I have played with the system) by hardcapping the number of shoots you can contract per week, results in a situation where you can not leverage your beauty and reputation to contract more basic boy-girl scenes (for example) every week in order to make more money. Rather, you can only make more money by contracting more extreme scenes. At the same time, gangbangs and the like are open to you from the beginning. I won't say this is unbalanced, because it technically isn't, but the meta for making money is just to contract the scene with most participants each week, as fast as you are allowed to start picking what scene you want to star in, and this equilibrium does not track how new pornstars actually tend to work (so my pet peeve with it kind of is that it's nudging you to an unrealistic playstyle). Perhaps a system where you do not have as many options every day, or where better paying scenes are relatively rarer would work better.

Bug: I paid for the course (30 lessons), but they are not in the list of trainings. And when you click on the "volleyball" button, a window appears with the inscription Volleyball lessons cost 300 ₽ for 30 visits. But volleyball is not in the list of available trainings. Dancing and running are available, as before.
Edit. Volleyball lessons became available in the list after one or two training sessions of another type (in my case, dancing).

If you are installing for the first time just the core pack, if you already have the game then just the update pack. Once the bug release is done you will need the bug release one regardless

there is limited content fer that wi' spells i believe nutluck was working on that nae sure how far he got. the main problem is not so much adding it but actually finding media fer the storylines and having the npcs react in a proper way. after all we a' remember the cryin' game scene, so reactions are needed unless ye want mib style memory wipe.

that's all tied to the Inhibition stat (click on the female image icon, below where the weather picture and current time are, and then click on the Skills link - it should be at the very bottom, under Sexual Skills). if you didn't start with the slut or gopnik background, it's gonna be pretty high. you can temporarily lower it by becoming an alcoholic (getting drinks from NPCs or buying wine at the grocery department of the supermarket; if you go this route, your character can feel fine with wearing more revealing clothes for a little while until the alcohol wears off), or you can permanently lower it by doing actions that lower your inhibition (flashing, teasing, having sex, etc.) it's a bit of a grind, but it goes quick if you keep buying wine and getting laid as much as possible.

You already can with the spell penis envy but it only last for a short while. That is because otherwise we would have to writer a second version of most of the game, for the NPC's to react to that.
