You can blame the layout on the original Russian ETO modders as they are the ones that set up the layout. The only thing we changed was move Pushkin from being next to the city to be next to Pavlovsk, then add a couple of extra street hubs like the island for the Uni etc. But mostly the layout was done by the ETO modders and we just kept it the same

We know GL is not exactly like the real life Saint Pet area but it is close enough, plus our island map has sharks swimming around

the game has enough grind in it to make a blender get jealous ffs
all those locations on the map (of all things) doesnt list places of interests and all that does is make ya wander around lost can make a game but cant make simple changes to help the players out?/facepalm

We are not going to change it, the layout is for a life sim. Where you travel from one location to another by going to each place inbetween. Sorry if you don't like it, but we are not going to change it.

Just like in RL once you get use to where things are they are easy to find, just takes a few clicks and who knows what unexpected adventure might jump up and slap you on the ass.

You have to have enough slut rep or buy sex stuff when Aunt Luda is working at the pharmacy 10+ different times. Then she will offer to let you help. Then just talk to Olu alone at their home.

I looked, but its not in the mega folder that contains all the image and sound packs.

That quest was being investigated to make it more intuitive / easier. No idea on what its current status is. The Olu one crosses paths with other NPCs so can be tricky to cheat without breaking other questlines if you have them active. You need to see Auntie 5-10 times to buy contraceptives or sexual goods from the chemist the items are weighted differently. You can not cheat easily without doing a lot of code mining.

im ok if save breaks i got 2 saves 1 my main save the other is mazda LOL because once we can get the ferrari thats going to be on my main save for now im fucking around with the mazda save trying different things even trying to trigger pregnancy events dont care if this save goes just sick of the bs and grind i wanna have some fun and dont care if it takes cheating to do so be tossing this save once the ferrari becomes available anyway as i said so...

Do not cheat items, you buy them many of the questlines use incremental counters or date checks, which makes them difficult to progress unless you read the code which given the amount of questions you have might be better served if you want to cheat the content all it would take is qgen and then some figuring out how to find the scene you are in or quest. As mentioned to other people here if you do not like grind then this is not your type of game. It is a simulator not a push, click to pull yer pudding.

theres a lot to do in this game (to much for an average player in my opinion anyways sure half of us or more wont go to every place in the game)BUT without a walkthrough many of us will likely miss well over half the content in the game anyway BECAUSE not knowing whats what and whats where and all that shit so ...
i dont mind a game that has grind BUT most games have some sort of a guide or quest helper thingy in them or SOMETHING to help a brother out (not complaining i enjoy the game even if it doesnt seem like it BUT i honestly do and if i didnt like it i wouldnt be wasting my time on it now would i be? just letting ya know where im at ..we all play differently some are in it for stories and thats fine for those that are and enjoy that kind of stuff nothing wrong with that at all ...personally if i wanna story ill open a book BUT thats me ....others are in it for fetishes and list goes on....im on the fetish side and other stuff ...

people may make games and expect players to play the game the way they (devs,etc )expects and intended,etc etc etc players to play BUT at the end of the day man not all players play that way....as explained already so...we all play for different reasons ... facts
onething i dont understand is on oneside of the coin we have cheats and all kinds of cheat tools to use to cheat ...and the otherside of the coin being told DONT CHEAT ......kinda like giving someone a loaded gun and saying here just dont shoot anything/anybody with it

There is a journal in-game but you have to remember most of the games code either pre-dates the journal or has been added ad-hoc out-with the currently maintained core NPCs. This game is a decade old and has been developed by dozens of writers and coders. There has been several attempts to update the journal and migrate the older content.

This could be smoother if the team had more people working on the Wiki or helping out with the coding so if that is your cup o' tea then pop over to the Discord. As to cheats, use at your discretion but they are only there to help reduce the grind with the understanding they can and will break games hence it is always worth learning to read the game code as that will give you a far more precise answer.

Are there any downsides to starting the game in summer rather than a few days before school? Will it break something?

Go to the Uni and get a degree, but keep in mind right now the Uni only goes for 2 years so far.
