main folder, name of mod and then stick mod and images into that folder.

that is more likely a incompatible mod, try an earlier version o' the game as a lot of mods are abandoned and it is particularly bad now because there has been a lot of structural and code changes under the hood. some devs are trying to keep mods working with changes but without devs things are more likely to be broken than fixed.

sss'OK, my folder path was incorrect. I had deleted all my old files and was waiting for 9.7, but got impatient, and couldn't figure the correct structure. But good to know, thanks for the heads up.
