There is literally very little new content... I hope there will be much more in 0.9.8. In the meantime, we'll have to sit in wait mode again.

I last played on 0.9.6.1 and was finishing my second year at university.
Judging by the changelog, there's not much new content. It's a minor expansion of existing content, but clearly not enough to significantly impact a new playthrough.

The only thing that is of interest about the university is - "Transition quest between school and uni". I hope that this is exactly what it means, that unfinished school quests can be completed during university.

Corruption is weird in this game. You can start with the purest build, and when the occasion presents itself, you can choose to do the naughtiest things like it's nothing.

It’s impossible for gopnik Sveta to befriend her, whether that be from a full gopnik start or becoming one during the game.
So long as Sveta is involved with the gopniks, her relationship with Albina will never rise above 20 points.

from what i understood, the team have different opinions on what the game should be and it results in very strange immersion breaking events and dialogs.

No it based on how much people find out. You do something where the only people that know about it, don't talk and you will get very little or no rep for it(depending if someone else might have seen you walking off with someone with a rep of their own etc), while the reverse is true. You can do nothing other than look like you might do something and get a rep.
Some NPC's will even lie about stuff, go somewhere private with them while drunk and they will tell everyone you had sex even if you did not, but you get the slut rep as if you did.
Go with one that doesn't talk in private, like go to their home and no one even see's you go and you can have all the sex you want and you will not gain slut rep.
Rep is not based on what you do, but on what the majority of people "believe" you do or not do.

Are you perhaps trying to download while in incognito mode? IIRC Mega craps out after 1 gig or so in incognito.
Just download normally and delete browsing history from last hour.
