okay, I thought you're referring to initial setup. There is now a bug that even if you disable music during a new game setup, it doesn't turn the music off until whole setup is finished.

I've never deleted the music files just turned the music off in the settings menu

Yeah it is just the intro song for the game, once you get into the game it never plays again.

But if you want to delete it the file so it doesn't play or rename it. It is named Suki and it is in the main sound folder.

When I first heard this song, especially considering the game takes place in Russia, I assumed it was being made by Russian-speaking developers, but for some reason there's no Russian language in the game. It still baffles me.
My English level allows me to understand about 90% of the text, but Russian would be much easier. And waiting for a third-party translation is a very long process.

The irony of this comment is, GL was original a English translation of the Russian game ETO(I think that was the name) anyways we just translated it from the terrible machine translation it had from the original Russian. Then the original game folded and we started making out own content and now about 10 years later it is pretty much it's own thing, but the bone of the game is still from that old Russian game.

Now we get a fair number of people asking us to translate it back into Russian. I always find it a little amusing considering the history of the game.

The game doesn't have set music playing all the time other than during character creation. After that it has some found effects like rain, cars passing by while walking on the highway, music when at the disco or night clubs, and some story arcs make use of music to help tell a story. Niko story uses a lot of music to set the atmosphere for the scene, while Anushka uses it a fair bit for her playing music/singing or for the band story arc which she is part of. Both of which further the story arc for that as I picked the music for very specific reasons, so it helps you learn more about the story or hints about stuff etc. So in those two cases it is well worth having the sound on.

Getting selfies from NPC's or sending them is something we want to add but it is a low proirity. Right no there is not a lot of text's. One like you found a few others, when Anushka and the band go on tour during the summer, if you are friends with her she will send you weekly text's telling you what's going on for example and a few others like that but not a lot, YET

Yes, I remember that game, but it didn't captivate me as much as GirlLife.

While many, more than in RL of the girls are bi or lesbian. Not all of them are, because it would be unrealistic if they was. Just like some of the boys are gay and have no interest in Sveta and some of the characters are asexual and have no interest in anyone. Or are older and have no interest in someone as young as Sveta. It adds to the immersion if characters are different with different views and motivations.

that's fair, still sucks to do it with that character though, i still hold out hope that you guys change your mind at some point.

We won't it has been discussed many times and we feel it doesn't fit her personality and history for the reasons I gave.

With that said though, i am honestly surprised no one has made a mod for that. I know someone made a mod with a fair number of new events and at least one or two of them had mom sex in them. I don't remember what the mod was called and I think it is long gone now as most of it was merged into the main game once the author left
