Well, I think I made my point perfectly clear on discord conversations and here. Primarily:

• Too many characters instead of focusing on those that already exist
• The idea for breaking up the couple is idiotic and scope creep of the game (shouldn't have even been up for discussion, let alone a poll)

And here's one for now that the update is released:

Apart from the awful blueball fest which was not seeing what happens in that scene with Brian, it just felt like we were jumping all over the place like an untied balloon bouncing off the wall. There was no context, no transition between scenes... just - well, here's this unfinished scene you're currently in... now fuck you, let's go to this other totally unrelated scene with characters that aren't the MC or FMC. I honestly spent the whole update confused, wondering what the fuck was going on.

Or take Zaira and her mother as another example. The purpose there was to show how Zaira is gradually developing feelings for MC, which will also play a role in MC’s Harem path.

As you can see, the game has many narrative branches. Maybe we should consider cutting some of them? If so, which ones do you think should go?

I’m fully aware that this is our game and that we have the final say, but I think it’s nice to talk about these things together.

I know it may seem like people are being angry because they don't like the game or something but I think for most people it's because the game started out strongly and it was easy to become attached to the characters.

I still believe Girlfriend is one of the best games that explores these themes it's just at the moment it feels kind of all over the place.

I think Mark's sene were very impactful in the early episodes is overshadowed many other characters.

Stop adding characters. Mustapha's brother? Why is that even necessary? Ditch the side story with the other couple. Make a separate stand-alone for that shit. No one here really cares about them. Focus on the couple and their adventures - whether MC is cheating on FMC, FMC is cheating on MC, MC is sharing FMC, FMC is sharing MC. Don't add any more useless characters.

Also, go back and fix shit if it's not good. Remove the pregnancy talk and FMC moving in with Mark (you can do something like that after they've actually spent more time together if you want). Make Mark not so possessive. He could be a really good sharing character. Edward is a great character for NTR and sharing. Bring back James in some capacity for those who like the blackmail ugly fuck.

You can fix this. I used to look forward to updates to this game which is why I subscribed in the first place. But now... I just hate the direction the game is going in.

I know you weren't talking to me and take this with a grain of salt has I haven't seen the context of any of the dialogue but a line or 2 here and there in this update. As I just haven't gotten around to playing it yet as im unsure if I want to play it now or wait for the next update. I did skim through what content is in the update.

But from I have seen so far Zaira is one I would limit or get rid of . As without the James blackmail plotline since James kind of went away she feels kind of pointless to me as she was gonna help the FMC with it. I rather she was just be limited to how often we see her instead of getting rid of her cause I do like her character.

secret trysts while you give us the option to skip it entirely. imo that is one that just needs to go and become it's own separate game. I looked at a few scenes from it but after that I just skip all of them entirely doesn't feel like there is any point to them.

Monique I don't think she needs to go but limited. Like with that weird scene with her boyfriend now Ive only seen the render didn't reader the context of that scene but that felt like a weird and random scene to me. But I did read some of the pool scene not all with her boyfriend and the FMC now I did like what t I did read as it seems to be setting up another sharing path.

Sophia I think is good but also not good at the same time. For me the last update kind of ruined the alone time I was looking forward to with her because I was not expecting randomly we get her friend to show up and it turns into a threesome if I wanted to stay on her path. Her friend honestly ruined her entire scene for me in that update because I was excited to have some 1 on 1 time with her.

Emily is good so far, tho I do have some issues with her but that is just me not liking part of her character or what she has done.

Katrin is good even tho I don't like her character anymore.

Mustapha seems good but im worried his brother is gonna replace him when I rather spend time with Mustapha .

Edward - I think he needs more content with the FMC

Mark - honestly he is one of the best Male characters for the FMC right now until other characters gets more deveolopment for the FMC I feel he needs to have constant updates every 3 or so updates.

Brian is in a good spot

James honestly just disappointed honestly with his path. He started to blackmail the FMC and told her how she has to show up at his place the next day and pretend to be his girlfriend. I was excited to see where this was going to go then he gets fired in the next update. Kind of felt like his character just got deleted.

That's all I can think of / remember off the top of my head without a fresh replay of the game.

Agreed overall; some cleaning house is needed.

As much as I like them both as characters and find their models attractive, Emily and Zaire both feel somewhat extraneous....

Sophia I couldn't care less if she left game, but then again I'm not into the older woman thing and I know some players like that - mirrors my feelings on mustafa.

I think Edward has been neglected; we've definitely gotten too much of James at his expense....

Katrin/FMC/Brian/Mark are in a good place contentwise if we ignore how the threesome was done.

The whole secret tryst side story should be cut and moved to another game, 100% agree.

In contrast with several other posts I've seen here, I like the new Monique and her boyfriend and don't mind seeing more of them at all. Only letdown was that weird emasculating scene was pretty much all they got.... I think the nature of that scene would get less criticism if it was but a single story building scene amongst others, but as it were that's all we saw of them together.

The other route Stephano could take (and I'd strongly suggest) is find more ways to tie different characters stories together so you don't have 12 seperate story threads operating at once. Things like bring Zaire or Mark into the Brian boss story, or have Edward come over and meet people - the goal should be reducing independent plotlines, not increasing total.

after reading this post I can see your idea and yeah I do like it but the problem comes from the fact we never get to see it in the update. It would of been better if you delayed the update another month or 2 so it made it in the update. Or have 2 options during the hotel scene. a NTR one where you don't see what happens until the video / images. Or a faithful one where the FMC just watches so we can still see some action between Katrin and Brian. So even if the threesome didn't make it in the update it wouldn't feel like it was built up for nothing if we saw something.

Edit forgot also a skip option for those that hate Brian

I mean Katrin also should just have a route where she does nothing with Brian why have harem stats for her and she still does stuff with Brian just doesn't make sense. This game is becoming a big mess.

I have a mixed opinion on this because the dev already made the decision from the start of the game she is gonna sleep with Brian. So I think I think to end that path in the hotel unless the dev made Brian do something fucked in the hotel would feel like his path would come to a abrupt end and feel rushed. But I do think it should be the turning point to get her to end things with him sooner than later.

Now I do think it would make more sense if Katrin had the option much earlier to end things with him depending on the MC's choices that I do agree with. I just don't agree to end it at the hotel without a reason like Brian miss treating her daughter infront of her.

Now I haven't played since the initial release beause I got the impression most updates would be Share or NTR.
And i wouldn't care about the game or watch this thread if it hadn't been said there would be a Harem route.
I'n not sure how much Harem content there is yet I can only really go by whats said here.

But I thought Brian was the MC's asshole boss ?.
So if Katrin and Brian progress for to long on the Harem route then there's little point in wanting her in a Harem.
And I hope I'm wrong but if the Idea is on the harem route to have a threesome with Katrin, FMC and Brien.
For what ever reason then and no offence it's effectively not longer a harem route.

That can't be correct if the only way to get a threesome involves Brian thats not harem.

In harem's you can take another guy's woman but you don't share, allow or put up with yours fucking other men.
And this next bit is more a personal choice than fact but you only take a woman providing you arnt put off by her.
Or by who she is fucking and howlong she's been doing it for, which again relates to Katrin.
In short If there is any Sharing or NTR on a route then it's not Harem.

I think it was said this game is mainly about Sharing and has an NTR route and Harem route added.
I have no problem with that but personaly I'm interested in the Harem part myself.
Thats providing it is Harem and not just some kind of girl stable belong to MC but fuck anyone kind of route.
As some games claimed right before having one of the Harem girls fuck someone else so not Harem at all.

I know it's not just the Dev's fault this site don't help they only have to have a Harem Tag.
To signify mutiple girls in a relationship with one guy.
So it's really no wonder some new Dev's forget what Harem actually means.

And after that rather long winded post I just really want to know Is Harem actually Harem in this game,
Or is it really just a stable of girls?.
(Because I have said it before and I will say it again you don't share in a harem).
