as expected once again. Femdom game developers are hopeless
I am still hopeful. I mean developing Femdom games is niche at best, not a full time job for most developers. Looking at Patreon, there were still updates in February.
No. It's not dead. I'm not trying to be rude, but I have a life, and my own things I need to deal with. I'm sleeping about four hours per night, have a job, and am trying to work on this whenever I can. Artist has been absent for 1 month out of the three; and this version is many times more ambitious than the last. I have not made a cent off of gladia, as every single dollar (and much more) has gone into paying for art, and now voice acting. My artist is Russian, and now even paying her has become insanely difficult due to the sanctions.
I do not follow this thread much anymore because the negativity is just suffocating, and I dread opening it up to read comparisons to other devs, or these implications that I'm trying to scam people; having so far posted every single version for free here, and having made **negative** profit. Again, sorry for the attitude. It's just not pleasant.

Unfortunately a lot of your fellow porn developers, the most famous of which in femdom I'm sure you're very familiar with, have gone the asshole route and put people on the defensive. Try not to take too personally, I'm sure it'll get better with a few more updates on your back... at least a little. Happy to have confermation we're still in business!

Not my favourite femdom game on here, (so I wasn't very present on the thread) but it's definitely a great one and you shouldn't let the negativity get to you! Your writing and character depth is sublime compared to some other similar games, the art is very good and in general you've done a phenomenal job with this ambitious project - thank you for putting in the effort to make Gladia and good luck with overcoming the difficulties you and your artist are currently facing!
Some people may be quick to jump to conclusions or be disrespectfully impatient, but a lot of us are willing to wait as long as it takes and appreciate your work regardless of update frequency! Don't let the stress/pressure/negativity overcome you and work at your own pace and according to your original vision, and I'm sure Gladia will turn out a quality game when finished. All the best to you dev!

That really sucks to hear
People on this website forget that devs have more to do in their lives than create exactly the content they want 24/7. They get spoiled by devs releasing a huge backlog of content in several beefy updates, and start thinking that that's a "normal" development cycle.Please don't overwork yourself, and please get enough sleep! No real fans of your work would want you to suffer for our sake. <3 Your game is amazing and has awesome potential, but it can't become the best game it could be if it's making you miserable. Good luck with the game, and with life!
And I must say, those pics of the new waifu are incredibly enticing!

Sanctions from a modern full scale war in XXI century preventing the making of a femdom porn game is not something you see everyday XD
Sounds like a rough time, I like the story in this game and the whole tiger barrage is cool, we already waited a while, we can wait some more, take care of yo self.
while some voice acting would be nice, if you're not making that much off the game and it doesn't go against your vision I would consider dropping it at least for now.
I think the game is great until now and if maybe after you release more content you'll have a bigger following and can implement VA without making sacrifices later on.

To speak generally about these issues: people can be entitled sometimes, and it was always odd to me to have that behavior for an adult rated game of all things. That they probably also aren't even funding, either. If you need a femdom fix due to an addiction, just browse Gelbooru, Pixiv, and exhentai with the tag of "femdom" and then go back to playing whatever game is newly released, like Elden Ring. That's what I do while I wait for new updates to all my favorite porn games. In addition to getting laid in real life, of course.
I think with the popularity of Tower of Trample on F95 in particular, Bo-Wei and Koda have effectively made it difficult for other femdom game developers to be taken seriously here on this website, which is sad because I think it's one of the better websites out there for advertising and discovering femdom games, aside from Hemdom blog, but that's just a blog and not a message board. Anybody who relies upon either of these two websites to discover new games has no doubt played or heard of ToT by now, it's one of the more popular options out there for femdom games right now, so it has a big significance on how other games are perceived.
Sadly, people seem to have become overly wary, where their expectations are so unrealistic now because they have no idea what is and isn't a realistic timeframe for developing content in a game like this. Does it take 3+ years or can it be done in less than 3 months? They don't really bother to think about any other situations which might occur in a developer's life, such as if a war is impeding further development. Just goes to prove how some people are more fortunate and privileged than others.
Sometimes it seems like people are expecting indie developers to quit their full-time job and somehow be able to survive without a paycheck, and sufficient funding. It's selfish to declare a game as being dead or imply its developer a con artist, without considering the number of other possibilities to explain a slow update first. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt until they've proven themselves untrustworthy.
As for a suggestion: I don't know where else this game might be advertised, but the Fenoxo forums has a section where people can submit their game progress. It's mostly a furry forum, though. But it might help get some extra attention. Then there's also the "games in construction" subforum of ULMF. I don't see Gladia being advertised or posted anywhere else except here and the Hemdom blog, but people on blogs aren't really discussing anything but the newest posts. It might help to try and get your game noticed beyond the sphere of F95. Not to be rude towards him as I did enjoy some aspects of his games, but that's what DarkToz did and his writing is not nearly as good, and he uses outdated models for his DAZ3D renders, which are rendered through its viewport without any actual lighting effects, etc. He started with barely anything and has more than tripled his financial support since he began in 2018. Your game has easily way more potential.
In the meantime, just do what you can, and take your time.

Tbh Lina, you're quite right! We don't know what's going on behind the scenes and making assumptions is just rude of us! We hope things will get better for you and we apologize for our behaviour recently

As the others above have said, the choosingbeggars don't speak for the fanbase, they are just a vocal minority. The rest of us understand that you have a life and the obligations and stress from that life can impede game development. We all know of a certain dev who abuses this reasoning, but unlike that dev we can clearly see that you are releasing regular updates even if they are a little *Gulps* delayed. Gladia is already considered one of the most promising upcoming femdom games in the making and know it will be in the ranks of Tower of Trample and Domina in terms of quality (And not delays).

Same here about the orc, I could have sworn that is what she was was going to do with that stick on MC's. Imo she is best girl so far and I am very curious to see what happens next with her <3
