I hoped that after the revamp MC (why can't we change his name?) would start without gf. Also, is it normal that there's no intro?

Also, as others have said, Maeve's attacks get stuck on the screen.

Also, after 2nd fight with Maeve the game became blurry (menu, overworld, everything).

What do you not like about the platform?
It needs more .... labor with the code, the battle scenes get more and more laggish over time, I really enjoy the art and the looks, they are original, but, without any intent to insult anyone capabilities, i think there are only couple of games that are made well in rpgm - ToT and Domina. I wish the game good luck though, lets hope most ppl do not share my oppinion

The remake looks really really good, however the game suffers from the same issues as the previous version (and has regressed)

Combat is EXTREMELY choppy (1 FPS). In 0.4 this would occur 10-15 minutes into the game and could be fixed with a restart, but now it happens immediately. Due to the lag, inputs don't register and I have to smash spacebar and left click to go past the dialog and get Bingus to attack. Trying to press the attack button feels like another layer of combat between me and the button.

Also for some reason chrome dev tools launch when I open the game. Maybe this is a debug build which is why it's so slow? (copium)
Anyway here's a screenshot of performance profiling using the dev tools. You can easily tell when combat starts.

The bugs in it, or the actual gameplay itself? What about it?
For me at least, combat seems to drop the 'frame rate' down to a crawl. I don't know if frame rate is maybe the right word for it but the game as a whole becomes very slow/sluggish. Getting through dialogue and menu commands takes quite awhile to process.

I'm honestly at a loss about these issues, as the major issue in the version prior was the performance. All playtesters I had sent it to experienced much better performance with this one.

I have one idea on what could be heavily contributing to these issues (if they begin after combat starts and continue out of it?) and will implement that right now.

For me performance goes back to normal after exiting combat. Game is perfectly fine going through the map and regular dialogue, but the in-combat parts seem to be the problem. Looking at task manager, when I'm in combat RAM usage goes up to around 2.5gig and out of combat is about 400meg, does that sound right? I'm not terribly knowledgeable on this stuff so maybe that's normal or unrelated to in game speed.

to add to my previous post, this is what combat looks like for me:
But the rest looks like an absolute 10/10 banger. I'll just skip (cheat) through it and enjoy the rest of the content

I’m enjoying the rework so far. I think the writing you have, especially for Mauve, is quite brilliant. The animations I’ve experienced are pretty great too. Some seem slightly pixelated though.

I’ve noticed a few bugs thus far, nothing game breaking. I’m still early and still playing. I noticed when I open the game, dev tools open, and it seems to be compiling 4 errors in the code. When I click patch notes, they are not found (your patreon opens though) I noticed the intro is gone, but I imagine that might be intended. Mauve’s face is often out of frame when fighting her. And some text spill out of frame as well (I think I have seen 2 instances of that). Also, I noticed when you ask Mauve who she is, her name changes to Daisy in the character name box.

Like I said, these are all very minor. But I thought you should be made aware. It’s great so far! I think you’re doing a wonderful job.

Interesting, when i'm playing and I see this shot, her head is out of frame. Your shot looks better than mine. Performance much worse though.

I feel like an idiot, I went to mess with it again, head out of frame. Thought maybe it was cause i have the window maximized. Moved mouse and it moved her back into frame. So the screen follows the mouse. My B.
