after see this game like this i think play sims 4 use mod wicked whims is good than this game
i know graphics isn't the focus for this project, but damn. there has to be a better happy medium. a solo dev can make something cohesive and appealing without it being super high tech or super labor/art intensive. i hope dev finds that cohesive style for themselves at some point.
well, for years it seems that devs still could get the real point. For 3D game, there is already LifePlay, very free-style with low quality 3D graphics like a 2000s game, and we can see Lifeplay finally abandoned when the AI-CG comes.
AI CG gonna really F the industry honestly more sh8 games then good are gonna be pumped out.. When UE get AI assistant already is but real 1 understands U.E. oof Endless sh8 games on auto pump out..

Talking about AI CG is so dumb when referring to Glassix 2... Glassix 2 is real time 3D, using morphs to allow full body and face customization of the characters. There will be full pregnancy management and there is also already aging morphs in game which means NPCs age and get physically older has you play. Like miawang said, I'm no artist or designer, I'm a programmer and learned everything from scratch so there is indeed a lot lacking on lots of aspect, UI and graphics being among them but despite your claims, you can design pretty enough girls in Glassix 2 if you take the time with the Character Editor. Does your AI offer character editor in your 2D games, visual pregnancy and aging? Screenshots are from early dev version and I should replace them but 1) I'm lazy 2) I like seeing reply like yours saying graphics is shit and you start talking about completely irrelevant topic like AI CG, comparing a real time 3D game with full morphing ability to static 2D AI CG, comparing Glassix 2 which offers editors, modding and proper sandbox features to simulate life, albeit few at the moment, to 2D VN games which offers 0 gameplay and only focus on sexy girls.I mean to be honest, just looking at the UI, you can see that the dev has no eye for visual appeal (or UX). He's probably just really good at coding. A game like this could've maybe even been text based, but looking at the UI, I doubt it would've been better.
Yes, I'll look into it, shouldn't be too hard to add.Volume slider and window mode ever?
hell, either or would solve my need to turn the game down.
The first one simultaneously made me like sandboxes and never want to play them again. Here's hoping I don't need to maintain the characters bladder and stock portfolio...
Btw I think my comment sounded a bit rude. I didn't really mean it that way. You're no designer that's obvious, but I actually really do think you're great at coding and it's totally fine if design is not your expertise. Because the game IS kinda in depth and has lots of interesting mechanics. But I do think it would be good to at least find someone who can help you out in terms of UI, since it is really cluttered and that effects the user experience and joy in playing a lot. For the 3D art...yeah it's not state of the art, but I think this doesn't affect the gameplay that much. However many people probably disagree with me there. But anyways bro, graphics aside, the gameplay is actually good. Keep doing your thing!Talking about AI CG is so dumb when referring to Glassix 2... After you've played your 20th AI CG game with the same character design and similar story, maybe you'll like to play a real time 3D with proper gameplay giving you the liberty to live a virtual life filled with magic as you see fit and not follow a preset story. AI won't be able to give you that.
So yes, Glassix 2 graphics are not optimal so if you're looking only at graphics, this is a pass. If you're looking for an actual GAME to play, this is it (or will be, still a lot of work to achieve proper sandbox features). Graphics are not everything in a game... However, graphics in Glassix 2 can be improved indeed and I'll look into it, but only once more core features are added in the game. I don't mind the shit talking about graphics, like they said, bad advertisement is still better than no advertisement at all lol. But when you compare stuff, compare what is comparable please... 3D and 2D cannot be compared, VN and management games cannot either... IF you want to compare, you indeed have LifePlay as a reference and I'd be interested to see proper comparison on which aspect Glassix 2 would be worse than LifePlay. If you have other 3D sandbox games with full character customization and wardrobe to compare Glassix 2, let me know cause that would be better to use a referral to improve Glassix 2. Constructive critics are welcomed. And special mention FinalZero comparing an indie game made by a single dev part time to The Sims 4 made a professional team full time and modders and several years of work behind lol. That's totally a fair comparison....
Finding a 3D UI designer would indeed be welcomed but it's not easy to find someone reliable and I'm afraid I don't have the funds to pay someone at the moment. But if I ever get to the point where i can afford that, it would be nice to have someone review the whole UI design indeed.Btw I think my comment sounded a bit rude. I didn't really mean it that way. Hey brother, I get what you mean. I do applaud your initative to experiment and improve in such a hard task that is 3D simulation and sandbox, People can often make uneducated claims and see only the graphical modeling, but true potention lies on the backbone coding of the game. Making characters react within some parameters of freedom and have multiple characters affecting each other is hard work and underappreciated if people don't get to give it a chance due to lack of art appeal. If i may give some advice it would be to focus on your strengths first. Graphical design and animation is hard to master specially in porn, if you focus on that then the core of the gameplay would stagnate for a while and that is the strength of your project. Its always cool to learn new abilities but i think if you manage to make an engaging sandbox any artist wanting to get notoriety would try to sell their services to you due to the market gap that your game is aiming to fill. Its a rough ride until there but i believe in you, i hope you don't get unmotivated along the way.Talking about AI CG is so dumb when referring to Glassix 2... You're right. The first few months of the project, I tried to improve graphics, mostly shaders and lighting to give a more professional look, because the models themselves are actually among the best of the market, from Daz3D, so it's not really the models which are the problem. But like you said, all this stuff is quite complicated, getting proper hair or skin shader takes times, even more because I need specific requirements for easy modding and layers to apply stacks of images on top of each others, which other games usually won't do. I didn't talk about it either before but for example, makeup and lipstick which would add to girl beauty are already already functional. And with the way I coded stuff, it's quite easy to just drop a PNG into your mod folder to be able to use it on your girl face so you can add more makeup or write lewd words on their face if you wish so, something other games also don't offer. This is already functional but I didn't have time to complete the UI for that.Hey brother, I get what you mean.
