there is any mod to help in combat ?
Hey, dunno if you advanced or found a solution. Possibly a cheat engine would help. But you really should be able to beat most of the game just by reading. It's rock paper scissors, but the speech bubbles on the bottom during battle tell you what the enemy is about to do so you already know how to counter it.
Guide("Speech Bubble" == Enemy Attack Type << Your Counter Attack):
"Looks like he's getting excited" == Charging Attack << Counter Stance
"He's keeping his distance" == Dodging << Power Attack
"What is he doing?" == Pausing to do heavy attack << Basic Slash Attack
As the game goes on, you see other messages, all of which are meant to confuse you, which means you are forced to guess which move to make correctly. That's where it's important to equip good techniques. The combo I saw was "Endure" and "Love Slash". Basically Endure means you take a hit from the gobblin, but your future attack strength is doubled. Love Slash means you win against both Charging Attacks and Heavy Attacks, so it makes the basic slash so much more powerful. This means most of the time I use Love slash, unless I see a speech bubble that doesn't tell me what comes next, then I use Endure to take the hit so I can deal double damage on the next hit that is telegraphed. For most enemies, this typically means beating them in 2 hits. Given that you have 4 health states, you shouldn't be losing except against hard enemies. In those cases, you might have to use your brain a bit more. The biggest curveball imo was the "mind manipulating" goblins late game. The big thing to realize there(stop reading if you want to challenge yourself) is that when you have the pink aura around your character, the speech bubble is lying, so you know that the goblin is actually going to perform one of the 2 other attacks. So act accordingly and don't get frustrated because the speech bubbles are now lying to you.
Hope this helps and good luck, it was a pretty fun game, if too easy once I figured this all out.
