What's difficult to grind? You mean it's not so obvious where you should go next once the intro is done?
How is the mouse broken for you?

No skip yet. I figured there isn't much content to justify prioritizing skip and save/loading anyway. (Although a "skip story segment" button would be adding a simple line of code now that you mentioned it )
Should be there next patch.
