I would highly recommend not using someone else' saves, people with bad intentions could easily inject code into them to hack you or worse, read more here

I dont have much experience with this stuff, but I would imagine the difference between a regular save and a tampered save is probably negligible, as its basically just text, which doesn't take up very much space
