Sad news on his Patreon
Hey guys, so as you read from the title, I'm going to be shutting down this Patreon. I feel you all are owed an explanation, so I'll do my best to explain.
So as I said before, my life was going downhill soon and things in my life would change for the worst if things didn't pick up. That has happened, and I am unfortunate to say that I am in a very bad situation at the moment. My living situation is even worse than before now, and I had to make some major life changes, for example having to work two jobs now to support myself. My time is very limited at the moment I expect it to be like this for the foreseeable future. This is the main reason why I have to stop working on Godson and shut down this Patreon. I hope everyone can understand, this was a very hard decision but I literally have no choice. I don't have the funding of some other games, if I did, the things I could do or create would but tremendous. So, unfortunately, this is the end, and I hate that it has to end like this because I feel I have soo much talent with 3D and have made even more major breakthroughs in the past month with texturing and animation.
So what's next for me? My jobs are the first and main focus, but I refuse to let everything I have learned go to waste like this. I have been in talks with a few people and managed to join someone in multi-year project (game). I think what I'm going to do is just stick with this person, and work on a project for a few years, and release it after it's done. This will be good for me, as I get to work on something for a long time, in secret, without the pressure from Patreon or others and can also focus on fixing my life as right now, it's in shambles. If I could describe where I am right now (living), you would understand.
This is the current route I am on for the foreseable future. Whenever this get's released, you will know. Not from me directly but you will hear about it. If I get to work in secret on something for multiple years, you best believe it will be something special.
Anyway, I love you all and appriciate all your support over all this time. To the people who were here from Day 1, you guys are amazing and I thank you for beliving in me. And to everyone else who has support, thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. I'm sorry for this news, but I hope you can understand my situation. I love you all again, and I will see you in the future.

its the third game he cancels after 3 updates, when a creator does that the chances of them actually committing to something are essentially 0

Fuck it's sad to see this game abandoned, I thought it had a lot of potential, but if the dev doesn't have the means to keep working on it, there isn't really much we can do about it. There are some devs that would just disappear and let the patreon running and milk the few patrons left.

I think his time commitments and his jobs is what was causing all the cancels. He's not being paid enough at his job. If he was then he could spare the time. I hope his situation improves.

It’s not really a problem, people just don’t like to support which is what he needed so he had to focus on providing for himself.
