Sure feels like an eternity in here what with this project not releasing anymore updates and whatnot. At this point, I agree with you that HentaiRed should think deep on how this is going to go. Someone is going to have to rant about this eventually, and if not me, then who will?
The last mention of Golden Mane updates was on September 29, 2022 (soon - the post said), and the last update (0.0.5.4) was published on December 01, 2021. Ever since the creator focused solely on the Cooking with Pinkie Pie sequel, it's been nothing but silence, followed by some growth, stagnation, and then a gradual decline in support. On top of all of this, there are 5 different versions being worked on for each project for each Patreon tier (Free, regular Patreon support, Silver, Gold, and Diamond). The amount of burnout coming from that is strong enough to set someone's computer on fire twofold. It's just so counterproductive. If anything, there should be only TWO versions, premium (Diamond) and free.
If it were up to HentaiRed, he should have it where the release would be 1-3 days apart for each tier, where the Diamond tier would get the update immediately upon release, while the build would slowly trickle down to the lower tiers after said certain amount of time has passed. This is the most simple suggestion I can think of for the state of his Patreon. I'm sure that the current sentiment of the supporters, both current and former, are the expectations of the new version of Golden Mane releasing as promised. Instead, there's nothing else to show for this other than the periodic Cooking with Pinkie Pie 2 updates, so what's the point in the support after all this time?
It's a shame to see this project at a standstill because it has potential. SMH, rant over.

This is an interesting idea for sure...but I couldn't even get to the table with Twilight, the controls/camera were so bad, I just gave up. From the looks of it, you can only walk forwards/backwards, no sideways...and the camera doesn't want to stay focused on Luna, and keeps zooming out. I might check back later if this improves, but for now, it just seems like this isn't working for me.
Edit: I'm definitely not trying to be negative in my comments, more...a commentary on the good and the not-so-good? I apologize if if comes off as harsh.

I am going to comment on several things, the game itself is only stopped, right now hentaired is giving it several turns to see what we can do, another game is being created with another creator at the same time and if we add that to cooking with pinkie, he does not have time to spare , the compatibility with vr is planned but it would be too soon to add it or even test it, regarding reducing tiers I already told he and he have been thinking about it for a long time but due to the lack of patreons it is complicated and so each patreon has its own reward, I hope to be able to give you better news soon

and it's not that I left as a patreon, but as a developer, hentaired is the one who does the animations, interactions and everything related to programming, history, mini-games and what the girls will do and their conversations I'll take care of, we continue in contact because we do not want to abandon this game or others that we are planning, but the lack of time and programmers makes it impossible for us at the moment

sounds like some seriously rough going, and the casual problems that come from too many projects at once. I only just found out about this game, and I hope to see it grow and do better. I like the idea of playing and learning how to play casino games from the mlp cast. Twilight seems like the perfect pony to explain how poker works after all. I wish you and everyone else working on this, and other projects luck... and will be watching this threat with hopeful interest.
so the project got abandoned huh? I would say I'm shocked but not really. the game had a decent idea with the models and animation done really well. however, the main problem in my mind was making it focused on gambling. the game of chance is too unpredictable for a porn game. (unless it's an old-school flash game where you can cheese the hell out of it) instead, the mini-games should have been a fun side thing with Loona being put in charge of acting as the CEO or owner of the golden mane. that would have been a much easier way to go about getting laid in the game, it would also be a cool business sim.
but what can you do? maybe if we're lucky the creator will come back or focus on animations (because again the animations were pretty good) and have someone with a better vision for the concept do it. safe to say, lady luck waste smiling on the golden mane.

new game on the way, in a few days I will give more details, it is not 3d, it is a mix between golden mane and cooking with pinkie pie, drawing style like a xin nightmare, I hope you all enjoy it when it comes out and give us feedback on the game, I hope that you like torture and hamburgers
I hope this time you dont thow the towel so fast and for the love of god make fun minigames this game whit the poker and blackjack .....

To be fair to the devs, they didn't so much throw the towel as much as the towel got burned to cinders. Besides, every bad game is a learning experience. Just be glad you didn't pay for it.

Can I ask something though? what's up with the unity first person games on this site that have you hold right click to look around? I can excuse it a tiny bit when it's the desktop version of what's supposed to be a VR game, but there's a good amount that don't even have VR support. Is it so that the pop up click UI becomes easier to use? It really seems unnecessary and makes navigating those games a chore
