Naughty that I didn't get invited to the party. =3 Wasn't expecting my game to be on F95 for so long. Not expecting that amount of moral grandstanding either? xD On Itch.io the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, so I was surprised things were different here. Like really starkly different. Seems like some were mad it was not Renamon. Renamon is great, but I feel there are Digimon that are not given the spotlight they so rightfully deserve.
OP doesn't seem to update the page much though. 0.71 is an old build and the newest just came out today being 0.80. Maybe I should consider making a new thread for it myself? Well, no plans for right now, but at the latest when the game is complete.
Anyway, thanks for everyone that is supportive of the game or gave it a fair shot. I read many questioning the validity of having Digimon gangrape Gomamon and calling it an NTR scene, which is fair. I will be honest and admit, I did not think this far. It seems to be an issue for some people. Most haven't complained, but it still is mentioned enough here and there that I am aware of the topic. Like mentioned, I didn't see a problem with it. I just liked the idea of a Gomamon smut scene and in the story the human only gains the power to defend Gomamon later, hence why I only made the scene skippable, so people don't have to watch it, even while it still happens.
If you are interested, feel free to check it out on Itch.io. I am not sure if the files here will actually get updated by the OP after all.

I enjoy your game and am glad to see you're still working on it. I haven't read this thread so I don't know about moral grandstanding, personally I just don't like scenes like that (not "morals" so much as "I'm here to get off, and I'm not into this") and my preference would be a content toggle in the settings to remove not only the scene but any references to it, but I'm content with the "just skip the scene" middle ground you implemented.
I'm mostly commenting because I saw at the bottom of your itch news post that you wrote: "Edit: Donations are disabled for now. The low visibility of the game is bugging me and I am testing out if this is changed if donations are disabled." And yes, that is the case. Here's the most recent announcement about it:

)The "moral grandstanding" comment was actually aimed at the people showing disgust towards the game. It is funny to see people basically going: "My kinks are superior to yours!". xD The problem with the Elecmon scene was understandable, but it is just in the end how it turned out and I realized it too late.
And thanks for that information. Disabling donations did have quite the effect when I did it. I was not able to find it before under the Adult tag, but it actually rose up to number 11 on the popularity list from over 5,600 games. So that is quite the huge difference. =D
Don't let dumbasses ruin what you like. There's people for all sorts of content and ultimately as long as you're not hurting anyone you should do you. The problem is that inherently in this society the ones who enjoy "socially acceptable" things will be more willing to speak up publicly than the ones who enjoy "socially questionable" things because of fear of judgement and criticism, but they all exist all the same. That's why there's always resistance and fighting back when they try to censor things on a large scale and actually mess with what people enjoy, and ultimately alternatives always pop up.
For the record, you single-handedly made me appreciate a Digimon I never cared much about before.
Thank you for these kind words and I am happy you learned to love our lovely Gomaboyo. =3 He did grow on me too the more I worked on the game. Rewatching the series and seeing the characters was fun as well for research. Interestingly enough "Digimon Adventure" becomes better when you rewatch it as an adult as you can see how well it was written more.
As a side note, Palmon will get lewded someday. Still got that prototype game somewhere laying around with a rough idea, but for now got other games to focus. ^^
