i remember playing this game on itch.io and leaving a negative review for the forced unavoidable progression gating rape ntr scene that happens despite having a option to save them in the earlier scenes, did that ever change.

So this game is still WIP? Given the new Digimon game is out, will any of those been added into this game?

It still WIP, mostly missing art for some scenes though the story is complete.
Afaik, no additional characters. The game's focus is just Gomamon hence the title.
I think Pokemon does have generally a wider roster of fuckable Pokemon than Digimon has for Digimon. There is a reason why Renamon and Gatomon are basically quite popular, along with of course the many humanoid woman types. Still, many cuties are neglected as well. Personally though not a fan of newer designs and the last season I had fun watching was Digimon Season 4, though it had a few problems of its own. Probably doesn't help that Digimon is not publishing as many games as Pokemon does, though I had plenty of fun with the ones I played and am looking forward to the new one as well. ^^
I don't know the new story yet, but Gomamon Trainer is using the canon for the old Digimon Adventure series as its backdrop. Not to mention it is fully written, so there won't be any additions. I am just trying to get the art done and enhance the game. ^^
Bro forgot Guilmon and his genderbent form by furromantic, I think the reason why Pokemon has many more fuckables is also due to how "organic" they appear but probably just personal bias
And guns. Many digimon have more pointy bits and guns on them. Like Tankmon. Or Sangloupmon. Not a dealbreaker, but i agree with you - less organic. That dumb, round art style pokemon has where silhouette is a randomly generated blender object with features painted on like a sticker. Even the sword pokemon is more organic shaped and coloured than some humanoid digimon.
I think it's just awareness and advertising. Pokemon hasn't really done any "great" or standout games in the last decade, but has consistently had new releases of its current line. And has always had a show running too - so people know pokemon. They can access it, and they see it even if they dont want to. Like Mcdonalds. Everyone knows mcdonalds, but if their advertisement cadence was the same as digimon, I swear to you, some people would casually forget mcdonalds. When you think fast food, you first think mcdonalds, then consider pizza hut, or wendys second - or not at all.
Digimon... yeah, Bandai dropped that ball. I know advertising is expensive, but there's just... 0 advertising in America. We did get the digimon bubble tea line though, which I've been enjoying. But its only in korean markets in my city so far.
Fun fact: AFAIK, digimon has more slightly more digimon than pokemon by about a hundred or so.
People in general would favour more or rather they would rule34 more organic looking stuff or atleast "organic" in terms of shape design and silhouettes, atleast that's the reason I can find for why the hell are there cars and planes with penises...
