Likely, Godot works with GDScript which is very similar to code with Python, so in a sense the learning curve wouldn't be so hard. Congratz RNGeusEX for getting in Godot Ecosystem, i hope for the best for you, to this and your future projects.

Honestly, I don't think it is needed. When you start a new game you are given the option to jump directly from where the new content begins, you could just skip the dialogue. But if you want a gallery unlocker that's a bit different.
Question, why change to Godot? Just started playing your game and it gotta be one the most if not the most beautiful game in terms of art and UI design and code-wise, does Godot allow for more complex game-play/mini-games that renpy is limiting?
