If you right-click on the exe file and select Properties, you should see the option to unblock the exe file at the bottom of the General tab. Unknown exe files from the internet are always treated as suspicious and you are asked each time if you want to run the file. To avoid this, you can unblock the file. To be on the safe side, you can have Windows Defender or another anti-virus program of your choice check the folder beforehand.

im judging the writing on the standard of visual novels and not 'indie porn game' so my opinion is not very fair lol, but even then the characters do not feel human to me.

The number of times this game has been leaning on the edge of ntr + rape by male is extremely upsetting and I honestly wouldn't recommend playing the game right now with that version end cliffhanger. You are left in a constant state of worry for a long time and don't get a satisfying conclusion. If anything, the conclusion you get is worse than it had any right to be.

You'd think I would be better at dealing with the emotional torment brought on by these games putting me on edge with these disturbing tag combinations but not committing to it so it earns the tag and I can therefore block it out thanks to having blacklisted the netorare tag.

I don’t think the writing is bad at all.

No, it's seriously poor. It has all sort of pacing issues with major developments happening in just few days only to then get completely sidelined for another subplot, a weird tonal dissonance with game trying at the same time to deal with serious themes, yet have some completely pointless elements that could only be considered failed attempts at humor* and the author having apparent hardon for trolling their own playerbase, and then there's implementations of some subplots that fall flat on their face due to, again, the author seeming have some pretty weird takes on some things and rather doubling down on them than accept he might be mistaken (for example of that, check the "femdom route" controversy when it was introduced)

*) this isn't to say drama and humor never mix, but it takes certain level of skill to pull such thing off and this doesn't happen here, imo.

why do people praise the story in the game? it's like a fanfic that develops ultra-fast, it's just ridiculous, you ran around for 3 days and now you're a hero, the girl fell in love in 3 days and is ready to fuck, a dangerous group is tracking you? but we don't care, we will continue to develop a plan, although I KNOW THAT THEY KNOW (and they say in plain text don't interfere, you'll get beat up) that we are developing a plan, it's terrible, a ridiculously linear story with choices only when you need to choose a path, I don't understand at all how the story is good here.

You can only get to her mother by befriending her. If not then you are locked on her atleast on this version of the game.

In the future yes, but i do believe it's confirmed you will only be able to date her if you friendzone the daughter
