Geez you guys are speedy to shit on the game rly. As everyone is entitled to their opinion, I must say that you should go easier on this subject.

It's only a Hentai game. Does it contain some inconsistency from time to time? Yeah. But saying that writing is just bad is not fair. Each girl is different, it's not Harem Hotel [I like this game TBH] - let's fuck everyone - story. If the game dev makes more writings - so more reading - then you will call this game reading simulator xD. If there were less text - then you would be angry because it's an "image clicker". If you have to click every day on the dumbbells to get stronger and boost statistics, then you would be unhappy with grinding.

Not earning money - the same problem - if you had to do that every day in the game you would be unhappy about it as grinding is simply a bad game mechanic. Asami creampie and pill - well a lot of girls take pills before having sex because they have hormonal problems. Some smaller inconsistency - well it happens as the game evolves. You should write to the developer to put it on his "todo - final release list".

The game contains many choices that matter—even if only for a single story—and it's great. Many characters are written in a great manner—Makumb FTW. Natsume is like a double agent. The Yandere, Tsundere, and Mother figures - are all archetypes. I love it.

It follows the stupid, but lovely convention of "everyone had bad lives I have to change it". It's boring and stupid like there was no happy ending for anyone before MC was reincarnated - but come on! This is a fantasy hentai game!

9) When we're talking with Yasuka (after the final day of work), she says that she got pregnant, MC's father left, then that MC was born, father got back, then she got pregnant again with Noriko. Doesn't that imply that she's MC's biological mother, even though she says that she is not MC's mother? Or that she has another child that is not mentioned in the story? Also, another bug in that dialog (screenshot attached), and before that I had dialogue option in French.
I mean Yasuka is clearly written to be your mother but thanks to patreon rules she is not without the patched version. Because of stupid patreon rules you have sloppy character relations.

I do agree with the rest tough.

- "It's only a hentai game" every game is just a game. I don't consider this game worse or better than any other game, just because it's adult oriented, and I treat it just as any other game.
- "Does it contain some inconsistency from time to time? Yeah. But saying that writing is just bad is not fair." It's not that it only has a few small inconsistencies, there are a lot of them, and they're pretty big, enough to ruin the experience from the game or at least make ask yourself "what? why? how?". I'm not just shitting or hating the game, if I couldn't care less, I wouldn't have posted at all, but since I care about the game (and actually liked it, and probably will continue to read it, despite everything) - I left the comment with criticism. The game itself is nice, especially the art, as I've said in my original post, but writing is weak, let's be honest. Moreover, it's dev's first game, so every comment should be useful, even if it's constructive criticism. If people would just say "cool, nice game" - dev won't be able to fix his mistakes.
- "If the game dev makes more writings - so more reading - then you will call this game reading simulator xD" Ackshually it's called a visual novel :geek: And I don't think that it's a bad thing (reading is not bad :KEK:), I mean, a lot of great games are "reading simulator". The same goes for other things, it's common mechanics for dating sim games.

I actually enjoyed this game, though I've only played the version up to 8.1 on Ren'Py. Yes, it's because it had the patch. Sue me. :)

But thanks to my willingness to actually browse the forum, my new hero skai apparently came out with a modded version of the newest update. This makes me happy, as I really would have hated to end this game after trying it, but it just doesn't roll well without the patch, IMO.

Thanks for your hard work, skai! And to the dev for a great game!

The next update will be version 0.11, possibly scheduled for March or later in the year?
Thank you.

Really love the art-style, but the writing is just bad, really hard to continue reading it, which is a shame.

I can only really answer this one, but I remember in earlier versions of the game you were able to give money to Yasuka, so that's probably leftover dialogue from when that used to be option

Solid adult game with lots of routes and to choose from with cause and effect scenario,
story is okey and somewhat engaging , the art is good and characters have their distinct personality

I am a simple man, you give me a cute tomboy, I give you my investment in your story, and although it's quite rough in some places, considering the routes actually have meaningful diffrences I'm willing to forgive that. What I'm not willing to forgive is the cliff I'm currently sitting on, and as I said I'm a simple man, just give me my tomboy. And so I shudder to imagine if I discovered this game sooner, to then wait months and only be met with the most wretched of all things, dramatic irony and a full route's worth of it. All I can do now is forget about this for the next few months and hope that the next update won't also leave me on a cliff.
Also this really might as well be a VN and I'm probably not the first to say this but especially in the latter half of the "game" it's like the writer gave up on the already thin illusion of choice (beyond the choice of route).

What the hell do you want?
For the Asami arc to be done? We literally got the whole Sayuri arc in the last updte.

RNGeusEX is one of the Devs (that's right Dev with capital D) that gives you a full arc with a character. Yes, it takes two update cycles (main update then bug fixes update) but you get everything.
Also, where have you seen that the main cover girl of the game and her mom's arcs are being done before the side characters are?
This is the only game that I do not want to be completed, as every other update gives us a new story where you can bang characters in every orifice.

Yes you got a bit of cliffhanger with a girl that was already MC's love interest. Her main arc is done, this is just a plus, let it hang for a bit, probably 5 months or so, but it's totally worth it.

Lets not jinx the game now. Mom and sis deserve a happy family ending.

Previously I was mostly venting my frustrations, I wasn’t concerned with being precise, and looking back it's very disjointed. So, to clarify: my issue isn’t just that the story isn’t magically finished. The real problem is how the cliffhanger is handled and wait time is just the icing. It was first introduced in, I assume, 0.9 it will have been in limbo until at least 0.11. That’s a long wait in real-world time, and while the development timeline is what it is, I repeat, the real issue is that the payoff for that wait feels underwhelming if not outright bad.

So to exapnd on this, the cliffhanger is introduced at the end of the Noriko chapter, but it’s only revealed directly to the player, not the characters to build tention. But I think this reveal (to the player) should have been delayed to at least halfway through what we currently have of the Sayuri chapter, and cutaways should have been more vague until then. But that’s only if we want to keep the dramatic irony at all, personally, I’d do away with it entirely. Because this is a “game”, the use of dramatic irony creates major problems with player agency.

Now while writing I think I’ve stumbled onto the real root of my frustration. While I already have a bias against dramatic irony for tension-building, I noticed it’s particularly difficult to pull off in games compared to other forms of media. In a book or movie, we don’t expect to change anything, we’re just observers. But in a game, we are players, and we expect a certain level of agency, even if minimal. Being denied that agency for such a large portion of the story is frustrating.

This actually ties back to the small note I made at the end of my last message: why is this even a game? Why does it let me ring Minato’s door a hundred thousand times if nothing ever comes of it? Then Sayuri chapter constantly cuts away to the villains scheming villainously, yet the game forces me the “player” to ignore it. Surely, I’m not the only one who found that frustrating. While previous chapters had occasional cutaways like this, they weren’t as frequent or as detailed, which made the issue not stand out as much.

So what do I want? Well I'm usually able to suspend my disbelief a lot more than most, which leaves issues like this one to take me out of the story, so finally it boils down to the usual, "better writing". Alternatively you can put the development of the story on pause to figure out how to make this a proper game, and solve the agency problem through that somehow but even I wouldn't want that at his point, it would take too long.

Hmm
I cannot disagree with the point you are making.
I myself enjoy the story, but I was introduced to the game when it was first released (under different name) and been following it ever since. I used to re-play the game at every release, but since it has became bigger I only concentrate on Yasuka route, dont know why but it gets me every time, also hoping that an anal scene with Yasuka would be introduced. And then I also read through whatever new content gets introduced.
Not sure why but I enjoyed the cliffhanger at the end of the latest update. To me the last update was unexpectedly fun I did not think that I would find Sayuri attractive and enjoyable to engage in relationship with, but I got pulled in as story developed and in the end had the pleasure of seeing an amazing sex scene that included anal, which is very important to me (please do not judge).
My apologies for sharp comment earlier, I do not find a lot of games on this website enjoyable and overreacted when I saw this game being critiqued for what I believed was a bad development approach.

Hey, how is the femdom route? I haven't played the game in a while. Last I checked, it was foot stuff, which I'm not a big fan of.
