It's funny to see how people react to a game that it's on its 0.12 version. I mean, not even at 1.0, or 0.5... At 0.12. The writing definitely has declined considerably on the main route being taken right now, but it's not impossible to imagine that we are going to have a main route and then different other routes we can take.

My fear is that these routes can be too short or boring, and the main route is the only one good enough for you to take on. Our choices regarding Yasuka's corruption, Noriko's relationship and Asami's relationship may and probably will impact on the main route further on the game's development, if it ever gets finished.

Minor nitpick, but under semantic versioning (which is the most common versioning scheme), v0.12 is 7 updates after v0.5 - it's not a decimal system. It would go v0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 0.10, 0.11, and then 0.12.

That also means it has no real indication on how far away v1.0 is. It could be 1 update away or 300 updates away.

I'm not saying that's the case or we have no idea though, because the dev logs give the impression we're getting closer to the end. Just saying that the numbering doesn't mean we're 12% of the way there or something.

Given how non-standardized Change Logs are in this place (as well as across many software categories in general), I prefer approaches like Kuvira's on Lovephobia or the Naughty Captain on Summer Scent. They chunk game progress down into plot Days. While it may not have a solid "End Date" of the Finale, you at least get a sense of how much time has passed in-game and have a yardstick to determine progress.

There are various differences, but they are basically minute when it comes to these types of AVNs, even with sharing which are technically the real cuckolds they can do it for multiple different reasons, some are into the hippy free love kind of thing while others want to feel humiliation, but you typically only see one type of that in these "games".

In AVNs, 99% of ntr is cuckoldry on the basis of humiliation, it's not purely that the mc is down of his luck and gets cheated on or whatever, nah they make a point of humiliation and people get off on that. It's a humiliation kink.

I don't really get the hate for NTR specifically here for some reason. Not why one might dislike it but why this should be some harem game with the caliber of its premise obviously allowing something greater than a generic harem sandbox just with a great design team and budget.

This game was for a long time presented as a harem game (still is, if you look at the tags and aren't aware of what the dev said only recently here) and the harem folks absolutely can't' stand the thought of NTR. So this is the sort of playerbase the game has attracted, and those people are now getting a double-whammy of "there actually won't be a harem" and "there will be not technically NTR". So it shouldn't be surprising at all you're seeing this kind of reactions specifically here. The reason is lot of people were misled about what sort of a game they're subscribing for.

Most people would like a full harem because that's what they started playing the game for, but the author wrote here last month that there won't be a harem in the game.

The hate is very easy to understand when you realize people like to self-insert in these types of AVNs and, you might find it weird, but actually the vast majority don't want to feel like they are getting cucked/betrayed. Checked latest version finally, last time I played this game was like 2 years ago.

Main selling point is variety of fetishes and pretty graphics, meanwhile, script itself gives mixed feelings. Sayuri and Sakuya rotes feel messy, and Noriko's reasoning to being bich for years is absurd.
Also, what was the point adding another milf, if we already have Yasuka?

Not sure how story will look in the end, maybe everything will make more sense, or author will rewrite part of script. Good job overall, just note that there flaws, I am not the first one who complains about script.

That character was reworked in attempt to appease Steam enough to publish the game there. A bid that's ultimately failed. But with payment processors only becoming more fervent in their "moral" crusade, i wouldn't expect any change in this regard.

You won't have to worry about payment processors soon. Multiple countries are cracking down on them pretty much telling them they have no right to tell their customers what they can spend their money on. VISA and MC got slammed in Japan and it's been slowly made illegal here in the states. EU and Aus though....my prayers goes out to the bros across the great salt pond and down under.

I don't even really see the bulls in NTR stuff as characters most of the line (granted I generally avoid it, since not my kink and all, I prefer wholesome fluffy romance). I feel like they more often than not end up just being a plot device more than an actual character. They don't have much of a personality or agency in the story, and often not even a properly developed design and appearance. Their role is solely to signal to the player that the NTR is happening now. I imagine there are exceptions of course, but I doubt that many.

I would say that never self inserting into a porn game is a bit unusual though, even if I'm mostly the same. Ultimately you are given the explicit role of steering and influencing the character you're playing and it's through their eyes you experience the world, so it does feel to me like the intention is for you put yourself in their place (how well that works when most of them fail to act like actual humans is debatable).
