I will always pick the default name and if it asks for a name I just come up with one that fits the characters design. This game was for a long time presented as a harem game (still is, if you look at the tags and aren't aware of what the dev said only recently here) and the harem folks absolutely can't' stand the thought of NTR. So this is the sort of playerbase the game has attracted, and those people are now getting a double-whammy of "there actually won't be a harem" and "there will be not technically NTR". So it shouldn't be surprising at all you're seeing this kind of reactions specifically here. The reason is lot of people were misled about what sort of a game they're subscribing for.

That character was reworked in attempt to appease Steam enough to publish the game there. A bid that's ultimately failed. But with payment processors only becoming more fervent in their "moral" crusade, i wouldn't expect any change in this regard.
You won't have to worry about payment processors soon. Multiple countries are cracking down on them pretty much telling them they have no right to tell their customers what they can spend their money on. VISA and MC got slammed in Japan and it's been slowly made illegal here in the states. EU and Aus though....my prayers goes out to the bros across the great salt pond and down under.
I don't even really see the bulls in NTR stuff as characters most of the line (granted I generally avoid it, since not my kink and all, I prefer wholesome fluffy romance). I feel like they more often than not end up just being a plot device more than an actual character. They don't have much of a personality or agency in the story, and often not even a properly developed design and appearance. Their role is solely to signal to the player that the NTR is happening now. I imagine there are exceptions of course, but I doubt that many.
