Nobody stole anyone, technology is evolving, and so is art itself. Man, if I could afford any artist, I'd probably hire one. But I'd rather not hire one instead of underpaying them.

Way I see it; if the game wouldn't have been made without the AI art, I'd rather the game get made than not. Definitely prefer an actual artist for a ton of reasons, but it is what it is.

This is the point. We're just getting to the numbers where we can "think" of hiring one, but if we're doing it, we're probably sticking to 3D stuff. We've got plans, not dreams. And one of them is to deliver a proper interactive 3d experience. But yeah, we all gotta start somewhere, I guess.
