I did a report on a game update, since there's a newer Public version out on itch.io than in the OP.

That said, the rule about marking "abandoned" doesn't apply to "news". It applies to Updates; actual content. If a creator keeps giving news on a game, but no new updates/content, then it stays abandoned. See Hero's Harem Guild for example as that one had a lot of drama around it being marked abandoned (though less so currently since there still hasn't been a new update released).

Is there any difference between subscibestar updates versus public updates? or is it just that the subscribestar ones get released earlier before public?

Hi, I too want to find out if the subscribestar updates are released earlier / newer or not. Might be worth subscribing if they are, this game is fun, even if it Is extremely simple - has great graphics for a cartooney type game. ~IK
