Now, call me crazy here and I probably am. And I absolutely am overthinking it. But hear me out here.

This whole genre is pure, unadulterated nightmare fuel.

Think about it for a moment. Imagine your self as the main character in one of these games. One day you wake up and find your self in a strange new world full of strange people doing strange things. Ok, so far so good. A bit unbalancing but nothing you can't bounce back from. Sure your old life is over but you've got a whole new world to explore.

But as you start exploring and really dig into this world you realize it's all just a facade. Nothing is real. The world is empty and stagnant. The only places and people which exist are those programmed into the game. Walk outside of those bounds and there is nothing. Act outside of the way the developers intended and there is nothing.

Yes, you can do what ever you want but the world will not respond to you. It will just exist, unchanging, unresponsive... dead.

And you are trapped in that world. Trapped and utterly alone.

Sure, there are things that look alive. But you know that ever living creature around you isn't. All the animals, plants and people are not real. They are just bad imitations. Puppets made of flesh programmed with a very limited amount of stock responses. Move outside of those and there is nothing. They don't react to the way you treat them. They don't learn, evolve or even have emotions or a personality.

It's a world where you can newer change things. You can newer create emotional connections. You can't ever have a normal conversation. It is a world where the only way to exist is to follow its rules and essentially become a NPC your self.

And above all else it is a world where you are completely and utterly alone and constantly surrounded by reminders of that fact. Reminders that in their similarity to people mock you mercilessly by their very existence.

How anyone can find that a turnon is beyond me.

it simply because when I watch a movie or read a book.. or play normal games.. my brain flips on.. sometimes into overdrive even..
so when it comes to porn and porn games, usually I just let my brain turn off(go into auto mode) and just relax to go with the flow.. enjoying the art and possibly the barely engaging story..
sometimes a porn game story will surprise me and my brain will start up again and I might really love the game or art.. but mostly all porn games are somewhat dull with somewhat good or great art..
it's an endless cycle, but I will say with technology in the game engines on the rise, I do see some nice games now..
so I look forward to some.. and even some specifically that are coming this year..

but back to npc games: it's the fake freedom that the MC enjoys and that we enjoy him doing.. and with that, we easily forget that it's all fake..
however, I do believe that part of the reason we forget so easily is that we realize ALL of this is fake.. the games we play, stories we read, etc.
because if we ever get confused and forget that it's not fake and truly confuse fiction with reality.. then and only then will the media be correct in their idiotic assumption that looking at drawings of rape will eventually make you a rapists or that looking at CP will make you a Ch molester(I will tell you right now I'm strongly against REAL CP, but I will not get on a moral high-ground and talk down to people about it.. everyone has their own demons, and they must regulate themselves to their own standards and possibly the culture's standards they live in)

I think my sex animations are broken. Whenever I talk to an NPC with a heart nothing special happens, and I checked the files and most of the images in the "pictures" folder are blank. I've downloaded it from 2 of the links and haven't been able to fuck an NPC

You know what I realize they don't have in this franchise is game where fuck like max of 9 and then guards show up kill you if try do so beyond that limit would be interesting. Find hidden 5 others without raising suspicion? or go under guise like ninja tech? that would been something worthy to play. NPC reincarnate or fuck every npc kind of sucks over time there no end of game what happens? its just repeat of game which makes of chore and broken feeling. No second tier like you restart or play continue either? like some games I have played that were trials of some previous games that were pretty interesting.

Does this skip past the sex scenes for everyone? It hasn't been working for me, and when I check the pictures most of them are just black

I think the R18 patch has a virus in it, I know someone who is currently dealing with I think is the fallout of e-mail sessions getting hijacked (bypassed his 2FA completely) so I had to track back what was downloaded which had me arrive here.

Please be careful when downloading things :) Not 100% it was this one just yet but it appears related.
