In some countries, the grades aren't like in the US where it's K-12. Some countries have them elementary 1-5, middle school 1-3 and high school 1-3.

I appreciate the dev for making an effort in making games. Maybe he's just doing it out of fun or because he loves doing it, whether with patreons or not. He could be doing this for practice. I don't really care if it's knock off or not, as long as you're trying to learn how to make games. But srsly, there's already too many things in this world when one person copies the work of the other just because that dude got famous *cough* *cough* mumble rappers* *cough*

The double standards on this site never cease to amaze me. "Good Girl Gone Bad" literally traces porn pictures and uses photos as backgrounds and yet people praise it as it was the best game ever. Here people criticize a novice for tracing.
Guys, the one making a shit load of money with poor art and shitty recycled plots is Summertime Saga, not this dude who barely makes any money. Why criticize this one instead of the one taking thousands and thousands for a mediocre game? this is like holding an indie movie to the same standards than one from a big studio.
This site is like reddit: neckbeards doing PR for massive corporations (DAE STEAM IS DA BEST???? DAE WINDOWS MASTER RACE XD???) and thinking they are fighting a just cause or making the market more competitive. Competition is good, stop shooting down anything that challenges mediocre games like Summertime Saga which make thousands simply because they lack competition.
The character art in this game is arguably better than SameFace Saga.

That is indeed the reason I stay the fuck away from GGGB, cause it looks like utter shit. Like Aku no Hana shit. Rotoscoping/tracing should only ever be done to draw realistic poses/animations and get better representations of jiggle/lighting physics, something like Disney's old movies and the wondrous Chika Dance, not these hellish abominations.

The writing in this is of a caliber never seen. And the copying, if I knew how to type a chef's kiss, I would.

I don't get why a dev is getting so much shit for "copying". Even if some of the characters are similar it is a totally different game so it comes to the point if one likes it and plays it and if someone doesn't then they don't. Stop ruining someone else's hard work.
