The update was awesome, had to restart my playthrough to spend more time with my favorite redhead goddesses and make Fiona literally dehydrate and run out of body fluids. I love that "household".
I feel awkward with Asami and Shizuka, to me it feels like they don't really belong, I wish I could choose /not/ to have them around, I don't know why. I mean, they're both cute don't get me wrong but I wish we could've helped them without having them in our household, the feelings I get from having them around and trying all the time to convert them into something THEY'RE CLEARLY not comfortable with, it just comes off as odd to me, even though I might be alone in this sentiment, I still feel like it should've been optional to have them both around.
And Amelia, she's one of the best girls in the game for me, the whole not being comfortable and more intimate with the MC kinda breaks my heart, since she's one of the oldest ones from the MC's life, I would've expected atleast the same type of intimacy Liz and Cat has around the MC, but Amelia seems distant or atleast shocked by how the household surrounds the MC, and since her being one of the oldest friends in the MC's life before he moved out, it feels like there's a huge gap between them that never closes, which is sad and fucking heartbreaking to see, hopefully the story gets more in-depth into Amelia and the MC and she finally opens up like Liz did.
Also we're finally having the whole relationship dialogue about dating Liz being thought out by the MC, hopefully we get to finally tell everyone that we're together, even though I still find it shocking that their relationship or even the other relationships the MC has is so secretive, I thought it was more out-there that everybody knew the MC had a harem but supposedly it isn't, even though the MC is anything BUT secretive about his lust and sleeping around, I don't know, I might be jumping the gun and being impatient but damn, it's not like the MC is hiding either, so why be so cautious about it.
To be fair, I'd love to just finally come out and say that we have a harem/open relationship with the people we choose, just atleast to clear out any misconceptions and be open about it with Grandma and admit that your interest in the girls you picked is bigger than just making people comfortable around you, you've been inside 85% of the girls you encountered so far, why not just accept that it goes beyond just being a good guy, sometimes I understand why the story dribbles around the subject and makes you feel like your "household" is just THAT close to each other with the whole innocent concept and all behind it but... sometimes it just infuriates me.
I already know who I want around, why do I need to be so close to people that I got no option to keep it friendly with, but instead the game pushes it down my throat with the whole full out horny-fetish-fest, and why the fuck can't we CHOOSE not to be so close to Grandma like that, if I want a grandma fetish, I could've gone with Ophelia, she even calls you grandson while giving you a handjob, like, uhhrgh... I don't know, I'm just frustrated I guess, but these are my thoughts on the game, sorry for the rant.

The vast majority of this game's fans are perfectly happy with the Magnificent Seven, and having them unavoidable literally makes the game better. Moon had to do a bunch of quite frankly imo wasted work on the Christmas update to account for people avoiding Tanya. Every time there was a group render with her in it Moon had to make another one without her. Having a group of unavoidable LIs significantly reduces how often he'll have to do that and keeps both the games pace up high, while also maximizing the amount of content we get per line of code.

It's more like, I wish I could spend more time with the people I actually enjoy doing these types of things than waste my time skipping through renders that aren't avoidable just "because"... Skipping the bath scenes with Nana would've made future developments with the relationship with Nana not make any sense. Since that relationship isn't avoidable non vanilla scenes with her aren't going to be either.
