I understand that these Visual Novels are developed by a handful of people that are putting in their best effort to make as good a game as possible. I would never blame them for anything even if it were to be their fault somehow. It seems to be people who feel entitled that would ever blame the developers (or unless someone is trying to charge a crap load of money for a buggy piece of software that gets rushed through development or is generally just a bad/misrepresented game *coughubisoftcough*)

Just one guy on this, the rest of us are just going along for the ride

Actually you will find comparatively few visual novels developed by more than two people. Most of them are entirely solo developed, just like GH here. Given just how simple the coding language is for Ren'Py and how relatively easy it is to work with Daz3D, you just don't need more than one, maybe two people working on a VN.

I had a manual save on the save now screen of part 4 yet I'm still unable to start part 5. I've even tried playing part four over again and getting to the save now screen again. Then loading the auto save from me doing that, yet I'm still unable to start part 5.
