not referring to the game but to the dev not wanting to do extra work like an incest patch or making more of the characters optional (not everyone is into Grandma and other characters so many people wont play even though everything else is 10/10) but if they put in extra work such as an incest patch or made characters optional it could be extremely beneficial to them cause it would attract more fans and patrons which would increase their income and make it a bigger and bigger success

There are two Incest patches on the OP. And the Dev has a story to tell, most of us are loving it. To each their own! :>)
You're assuming that the likely minority of people who refuse to play because Allison is an unavoidable LI are numerous enough that it's worth all the extra work. If Moon all of a sudden has to render 8 different versions of every family scene to account for all the different romance options then something tells me the handful of subs he'd get out of it aren't actually beneficial.
Not sure why you're talking about this not having an incest patch since this game has always had incest content with the patch.

Forget the fact that I like the guy. Just look at the amount of content. Just look at the update schedule. You are really barking at the worst possible tree. It could work on many other games. Here, not at all.
This is another of your attacks here, simply because you can't stand the fact that some of the Love Interests are NOT avoidable. You want that the whole project is changed in order to satisfy your need to pick and choose whom you see your avatar have sex with. I can't speak for MoonBox, but from all that has been said here, that is not going to happen.
This has been explained to you before. You chose to run away. Now here we are again, explaining to you that that specific want of yours would delay the whole project, would delay the updates and would only serve YOU. I don't even care who's the LI that you want to cut off. Those 7 are the GAME.

absolutely agree i'm not complaining just giving a personal opinion and advice on how the dev could improve their work if they choose to i'm actually a fan of Grandmas house thought it wa a great story overall just kind of of bummed because some aspects turned me off so probably wont play it again

Sorry to hear that! Single characters, even Nana, do not spend a whole lot of time on view during each update - and as a whole the game is a blast with it's humor and irony. It is a light-hearted and fun game. If it does not suit you, there are plenty more out ther. Have a great day and weekend!

thanks and who knows maybe some day some fan will make a patch so that the Lis are optional i've theought about doing it myself many time not just for this game but for many other sadly i just don't have the hardware or the skills to do so right now
I'm gonna give this anime character development arc a 1/5.
Just admit you don't like it and move on instead of trolling the thread for a game that you've made perfectly clear you don't plan on continuing. The dev isn't changing anything, and his fans not only don't want him to change anything, but we specifically want it kept exactly how it is with the unavoidable LIs. It makes their relations more meaningful when the dev doesn't have to dedicate half of his development cycle to making his game work without them in it.
I can't speak for braindrop, though I'd guess it's the patreon risk, but for me it isn't about the amount of work. Whether I'm working on scene A or scene B, I'm having fun. It's more about a balance between choice and content. Every choice means less content per playthrough.
Take the christmas supper for example. I had to make about 40% extra dialogue and renders because Tanya is optional. Now imagine if everyone there was optional. There would have to be dozens of alternate versions for it and it would take 2-3 updates just to get through that supper. And then the Cat/Liz threesome, I would have to make a Liz, a Cat and a threesome scene. 150 renders x 3 scenes = 450, that's about 75% of an update just for a single scene.
Also it seems like the large majority of players don't have a problem with the main 7 so I would be taking away a ton of content from them so a handful of people could avoid someone. It just doesn't make sense to me from either a hobby/passion project or job/business point of view. If I wanted to make the 7 optional, I would have to pretty much cut out all the other LIs. And I'm pretty sure I would have a fucking riot on my hands if I killed off the O'Reilly's
To be fair to braindrop though, let's be real here, how many of us would risk 250k a year just to give people on the internet some incest porn

The people who say "just take the time" makes me just shake my head.
They need to try making their own VN and see how crazy it can get out of control if you don't keep your own expectations realistic.
And that is if Daz Studio doesn't wig out and go crazy because an artist texture just so happens to crash (OutOfTouch hair for the longest time)

thats perfectly understood not trying to diminish your work in anyway just giving my personal opinion which is what this thread is for what you choose to do with what is said is up to you increasing content per playthrough that can be rough but it can be done its all based on productivity ( not sure if your working on this project solo or what your hardware is like but upgrading your hardware for faster rendering speed or building a team to help with the project those are the two main ways of increasing productivity sometime its also possible to reuse previous renders you just just need to change the dialogue in new updates) in the same amount of time to keep to your update schedule while pushing out more content per update/ getting updates out quicker or bothI can't speak for braindrop, though I'd guess it's the patreon risk, but for me it isn't about the amount of work.
