This game constantly has choices where one choice leads to strictly more content and the other choice basically doesn't do anything, and it really isn't always obvious which one is which.

Also, this:

There has been a couple of mildly ambiguous choices where people have ended a LI's path so I can see someone wanting to make sure if they don't want to replay.

Additionally, it's remarkable to me how you can't even ask a simple question without someone having to be judgemental and question you over it.

Alternate save location on android so I don't have to keep the game installed between updates. Is the big one for me... Plus as a gotta catch 'em all player I personally prefer the unambiguousness of how to do that.

I've had issues with some renpy games not allowing me to transfer the save file, out of android.data. Strange that it bothers you so much that people do something in a different manner from you.

Use a good file manger app.i guess you using android 13. Copying save files are easy till android 12. Kinda difficult but still possible on and 13. I suggest "RS file manger"
