Is there a way to get with Shizuka but not Asami? I find both adorable but the relationship between MC and Asami makes me lose interest in progressing with the game, don't know why, just not into it i guess..

They're both unavoidable, both are part of the main 7. Definitely worth continuing though, plenty of other girls and content to hang in there.

I'm really not sure, she's not technically part of the unavoidable core but is still a part of the family plotwise.
you might be able to avoid sexytimes, but she's present in the story regardless.

She's 100% unavoidable.

Look at the pictures above the thread, the 7 LIs you see are 100% unavoidable, that's mean; Jamila (Mom), Aunt Amy, Nana, Aunt Liz, Kitty Kat (cousin), Shizuka & Asami.

Ugh, anytime it gets brought up if various unavoidable characters can be avoided I always get a little annoyed about the two who should be unavoidable but aren't

Now that you said that, I'm thinking, if pregnancy was always planned to be such a big part of the game then why is Tanya even avoidable?

Because she technically not family. You can say the same with Shizuka and Asami but since they were to be maids and live in the house, Moon clearly intended them to be accepted as "family", that's why.

I agree that Tanya should have been an unavoidable LI too, but eh, it is what it is and it's totally fine with me.
