I mean, technically she was an ex at the beginning, but it was portrayed more as a "not interested in a long-distance relationship" breakup ... but yea, if you say you would love to see her again, you do, and she stays. And babies come.

Nah. Just do the old Star Trek trick when things get dicey. Boot them into orbit around the sun so they go faster and faster till they start moving so fast they go into a time warp. Then pull them back out when they're 18 and start the whole thing over again - call it GrandPa's House, or Grandkid's House, or something. :whistle:
