What level do you have to be to successfully finish this game? I got up to 84 and get stomped over and over. Final fight is too difficult.
I beat the game at level 72. I don't wanna sound rude but I think it's just a skill issue. 1749561510033.png

I even have the Blue Orb as a proof

Do you have the list of weapon and other unique drops? I kinda want to start another playthrough but I don't remember which enemies drop weapons and other unique items.

Does anyone know where the bust for the player character is in the files? I feel like I checked everywhere and couldn't find it. As vain as it is I wanted to just tint his hair black instead but I cannot find the image used on the main status screen despite finding the smaller one used in the equip menu. It's driving me a little crazy.

Nevermind, I found it.

I beat it at 69. I thought I was going to be underleveled, but beating the Azure Dragon optional boss more than made up for any level disparity. The equipment you get from beating him is insane. My team was MC, Elone, and Iria - same team that I used for Azure Dragon. Pump stats with boosters from the shop at the first outpost. I had more than enough money to throw around to buy agility boosters to fix Elone's low speed stat.

Sorry I don't have it, I'm not into collecting all the items in the game especially if acquiring them relies on pure RNG.

According to recent posts from you guys it seems Ellone and Iria is the meta, I can understand the combination though, Ellone is the best support/healer and Iria is just insane with her damage.

Iria with her 2 actions per turn technique, on top of all the essential stat debuffs you'd want rolled into one. Elone with instant Light Attribute infusion and Light Resistance Down + all the healing in the world and a partyy-wide ATK buff. Insane.

I managed to defeat the strongest extra boss two times at lvl 62 with mc, stin, and elone. I thought the stronger version of the boss would give me more cool item, but I only got exp T_T. Took me 2 hours damn. Wish I knew about the npc selling strength elixir sooner. I also finish the extra bosses in the wrong order lol. I did the strongest one after the adra and forest ruin since it's the closest

Some tips:
-Elone can make enemy weak to light element and change party member attack attribute into light. I equip her with activation+1 ring for this combo. She's a must party member for endgame. Not only for healing and anti ailments, she can also help buff and debuffing to increase party dps
-Learn boss attack pattern. When boss is about to use wipeout guaranted hit attack, use stin ultimate defense buff which take 65 TP. In my experience stin is very useful to prevent party being wiped out. I give her the +50 TP accessory so she can also deal damage. I make the mc and stin attribute to light and make the enemy weak to light with elone.
-the strongest extra boss sometimes do aoe wipe attack without charging, but it's not guaranteed attack. I used stin high guard to absorb the damage. I also make sure elon's grand heal buff is always up. If not, the boss will use roar that debuff your characters really bad

I see a lot of people suggest Iria as a third member for the endgame, but I beat both Azure and White dragons with Reni at level 71.

I don't remember my party at my previous walkthrough but the only member I hated was Yunfa and she was buffed in 1.05 so I guess you can clear it with any party.

My analysis and opinion of every playable characters.

MC ( Katana ): C Tier - Very straightforward, not that much consistent TP wise and not very versatile but the damage output is insane. Relies heavily on critical attacks which is RNG based so not that much consistent on that regard too. It's straightforwardness playstyle is dull in my opinion.

MC ( Gauntlet ): A Tier - Very versatile, very consistent TP wise and has lower damage output than Katana but still decent overall because of some abilities have multi-attacks (which increases crit chance, more attacks = more chance). Can debuff bosses with burn and cleanses ailments like its nothing. Has a cheaper TP cost but inflicts less stun ability, has an ability that counters flying enemies, has a decent evasion too. Easy to use and master.

Ellone : S Tier - Insane burst healing and damage, provides so much support utility from providing TP to status and damage buffs, fairly tanky if equipped with shield. Focusing building up her agility makes her the best support character. Occasionally inflicts blind too so that's a plus. Best. Support. Character. Period.

Stin : A Tier - Very tanky, very good damage or stun utility depending on the build, can redirect 1 shot boss attacks to herself but she is slow due to her equipment penalizing agility. Beginner friendly character and can save your ass in many frustrating fights.

Leni : B Tier - Very fast, high critical damage output, can provide supportive utilities to allies and inflict ailments to enemies, her ailment abilities relies on RNG so it's not consistent and she has an ability that can make your entire party take action twice but it requires so much MP very costly for her mana pool. Her TP regen is very good and good against flying bosses. She is intended to provide support while inflicting ailments but she's very underwhelming in that regard so I just play her as a simple damage dealer.

Yunfa : D Tier - Very high burst damage but she's limited to only 2 elements ( mage btw ). Consumes so much MP potion if you use her in the team to explore the game. Very good AoE damage and she can inflict slow with her ice and burn with her fire, she can also inflict poison but it's not worth it ( trust me ). Very simple mage character that suffers for being squishy and very costly on MP potions.

Iria : S Tier - She has everything (mostly). From Quick healing, Debuffs, Stun, AoE Damage, Burst Damage, TP regen, Durability, Double-Action, and Multi-Attacks. She is literally the main character of the first game who defeated a last boss in her game SOLO. Making her equip a longsword instead of a greatsword is still decent. She is very faithful to her abilities from the first game and I appreciate the dev for it.

What are you talking about?
Yunfa is not D Tier.
Her Magic Damage is insane! You combine it her skill Magic Amplification with Gran Flam or Gran Cielo, you can deal around 32k Damage. And MP is not a problem anymore as long as you put MP Regeneration passive on her.
Just like in my video here against Azure Dragon Rematch 'cause he become stronger.

Alright, i have to throw the towel. i just used my rare holiday in playing this game up till the dragon trials in one sitting.

it was a fun game. i actually didn't really care much for the Hcontent. I just played it like a regular JRPG.

I kinda wish that changing of party member mid battle was allowed. My base 3 had a very good set up, I've invested all resources on them. So I'm now at dragon trail at level 50, and don't have the damage for the trial even when using Iria and Reni. If I was able to change characters, then I could buff, then swap, and I believe that is just barely enough.

Alas, I am happy with ending it here. The story was alright, despite the awkward translation. Black knight was a weirdo, but Neo made up for it. So yeah, I had fun.

Damage check shrine
It's perfectly possible to do this as a first shrine, but will likely be difficult at only level 50, which is underleveled for this point in the game. You'll want to try again after hitting at least level 55, which will unlock important skills for late-game combos.

Character/Weapon comparisons
An issue with the difficulty in comparing characters is that they can be good or bad depending on the stage of the game. For example, I'd rate Katana MC rather highly for the mid-game because Sunrise Ascension is a very good spammable skill that helps with grinding efficiently, and Nameless/Improved Nameless are also particularly strong weapons for their tier/point of acquisition. Special shoutout also goes to Swift Assault, the katana's counter skill, which is particularly great for the ogre forest boss. Katanas do sort of fall off near the late-game, although it becomes the better weapon again in the end-game.

The character that this applies to the most is probably Yunfa. Yunfa suffers from mana issues and is likely at her weakest immediately after being recruited, but she picks up in strength after that, especially after being able to regenerate MP at level 40, which makes her a great character to grind with. By the end-game, her strength is fully on parity with the rest of party, if not on the stronger side due to the stats on her equipment.
