First time I see Spine animations implemented in a Clickteam Fusion 2.5 engine title. Most of animations are still based on frame-by-frame. Main Menu, most Fatalities/Executions are made with Spine, which explains why these running smooth at 60 fps.

And you haven't seen anything yet haha, there's much more in there. But we have some good news and bad news about the creator's situation. On the Good side he became Father recently and on the Bad side that means we'll have to dedicate more time to his new family member and less to the project so he's going to take longer to develop and update the game and all by all means. At least it's a big reason for it to be delayed.

Glad to hear, good for him.
As for game's assets, I've used a tool to unpack them and usually with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 engine there's only sprites for everything. To make it worse, half of them are duplicates - like engine is not capable to flip sprites horizontally.
Sprite 1 1965.png Sprite 2 2314.png

So about half of data of 1.4 GB build goes to duplicate flipped sprites. That's how it works in games on this engine normally. Framerate for these is also capped.

This game use more individual sprites for MC's animation and it looks smoother than usual. But now it use both methods. Spine for baked animations and particle effects & body parts (physics) are made with sprites. I wasn't sure it was possible for this engine, but it's way better than previous titles.

I see that some enemies are fully made with Spine usage in mind - including their move set for idle/block/attack. Some of them clearly marked as "Remake".

And Here's a save, Zealot difficulty - all currently available upgrades unlocked:

Question, is this normal? When i install the game and run, this message shows up. So
after asking chatgpt for this error and what it tells me, it says that "spine.mfx' is currently missing and i guess i need to install Spine extension for Clickteam fusion for the issue to be resolved. So , do I actually need to install it? Or the actual problem is my own device because my laptop is straight up potato tbh.
any help with this > i got same problem

dude can u help me to fix SPINE.MFX error ?
If i remembered correctly i only install additional files so that the game could run to my laptop.
First is Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
Link :
Try downloading and installing this one, I've searched that this is required for many modern Clickteam Fusion games.

This as well : DirectX End-User Runtime link:
This is also important because some Clickteam Fusion games (just like this one) rely on older DirectX components.

The second file helped me ,because the first file is already existing in my desktop . But for you tho , just check both. That's all, just give me a heads up if it works for u as well or if it doesn't...
