RPGM - Abandoned - Grolokk [v0.65] [gacorman70]

Overall a well-made, enjoyable game. The art is fantastic but the absolute best part of this game for me was the writing. The dialogue was colorful and humorous. The characters felt much more alive and fleshed out than most other porn games. The story itself has a lot of potential for fun shenanigans in later installments which seems to be the goal.

There are some flaws though.

The gameplay itself is almost entirely fetch quests and scavenger hunts. I'd recommend a bit more variety in future installments. Maybe some puzzles, warband management, crafting, or just more fleshed out side quests with a bit more story to name a few ideas. I understand that as a 1 man team this might be asking a lot so it's merely a suggestion.

The combat is pretty grindy and, for the most part, lacks strategy or anything noteworthy. Since it seems like this is the first chapter or prologue it's not really that big of a deal, but in the future perhaps adding some more mechanics would be better. Party composition, weaknesses, combo skills, sex skills (similar in concept to the charm skill), etc.

The scenes themselves had some incongruity. Mostly just menu stuff. Some girls you had to choose each individual action while others had no menu or 2 options with multiple scenes attached. It can make the player feel like some girls have fewer scenes which can be disappointing depending on which girl they prefer.

These are minor flaws in my mind so I stand by the 5 star rating. I think the game is very well made and has a lot of potential for later chapters.

The game play has a fresh take on things and the art style is very nice too and the women are appealing!
Sure the sexy time scenes could be over more images and some of the girls only had just a few images which was sad.

The only thing drawing this back is RPGM...
The UI as in all RPGM games is appalling and terrible to use, not mentioning interaction in the game map.

Any other RPGM game would've gotten a 3/5 at this stage, but not this!

I hope that the creators will reach the end of the project. And to the end at a high level. This forum is full of unfinished pearls and great projects, whose creators after some time began to take a shortcut.

Art is great, concept is good, writing is great, execution and programming is bad.

I love the art in this game, the characters are expressive and sexy. Enough said.

The concept is good, you're a lowlife goblin trying to build a warband through wacky hijinks meeting quirky characters. I also like that the harem girls you gather aren't really that unwilling (just unenthusiastic). It keeps the lighthearted nature of the game.

The writing is good, too. The goblins sound barely literate, the guards sound drunk. Everyone's an asshole or an idiot. Or both. Every character also has just a smidge of self-awareness cooked that, again, keeps you from taking anything seriously.

The actual game functioning, though, is where it falls apart.

It froze on me regularly, almost like clockwork, every 15-20 minutes. There's a bug concerning a quest requiring you to gather 5 Harem Girls. If you gather them in the wrong order, you can get 2 at once, and jump from 4 to 6 harem girls, making that quest, and hence the game itself, incompletable.

The game has 2 scavenger hunt fetch quests. Requiring you to either have a VERY keen eye and OCD-investigation tendencies the first time you explore a place, or going around the various locales trying to find what you need blindly. And this game has random encounters on the overworld that will grind your patience while your searching.

The combat feels incomplete. The mage and the healer, during my playthrough, learned spells/skills that had no MP cost, no description, and as far as I can tell, no effect when used.


This game also feels a little short. It ends on a "To Be Continued" like it's Chapter 1 of something, but it's not labeled Chapter 1.

You get 6 harem girls and most only have 1 sexy scene each after you get them. So the reward might not feel worth it after all the slog through the random encounters and fetch quests.


This is an interesting idea, but it would need a better game designer and programmer for the future installments.

Great game, especially for initial release. Expect a lot of good stuff down the line. I do sorely miss some kink elements, like at least put a collar on them slave girls and make em kneel.

Good game. Art's consistently high-quality, and one of the girls even has multiple options to choose from, which has been bizarrely absent from every other RPGM porn game I've tried. Gameplay's pretty good: nothing mind-blowing, but it works, is engaging enough, and doesn't get in the way. Assuming things continue on their current trajectory (ideally with more options added for all girls, maybe even with some minimal trainer-esque progression) this should be excellent.

PSA: Any time you're rating something and your rating will be factored into an average visible to others, 5 stars means good, 4 means good, but with significant reservations, and 3 or under means bad. When something only has a few ratings, this is even more true. This isn't the way it SHOULD be, but it's the way it is. Thus is the internet.

Bloody great. Just a tad short maybe. It is a good game, a good adult game, I just want more.

Art is great, constant and appealing.
Story is engaging, humorous without being annoying.
Gameplay is RPGM, but has nice art and works well.

Again, it is just too short, hope for more content soon!

I have no idea how this has anything higher than a 4 star. If I imagine someone who has a goblin kink, I imagine that person would give this a 4 star. Best possible rating. It's not amazing, it's not terrible, it is very average. The artwork is fine but not great. The animated scenes are few (1? 2?) and have like 3 frames max on loop. The story is okay but not very deep or long. The combat is okay but not very exciting. So on, so forth. Literally everything is just "okay".

When I play hentai games, I'm usually of hentai first game second mentality. I appreciate some build up and fun mechanics (ideally ones that lend themselves to the hentai aspect such as the "papers please"-themed Imperial Gatekeeper), I can play for hours without any sexual content and be content if the payoff is big, but this is just.. acceptable. Wish I had not wasted my time on it, thanks to the other 5 star reviews (5 stars means excellent btw, 3=average)

To above review trying to explain star value meanings, no, 5 stars does not mean good, 4 stars does not mean good with reservations. When you mouse over 5 stars on this site, it literally says "Excellent". 3 stars literally says "average". Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

But on a serious note, story and writing is really good so far. Game-play is your usual turn based RPG and easy to understand. The UI is excellent. Can't wait for further updates.

This game is unbelievably complete for a 1.0. The art is great, it clearly sets the stage for a future expansion. Normally I hate RPGM games because they are incredibly grindy, but this game manages to be fun. The scenes are sufficiently kinky. I wish some of the girls took more persuasion before they eventually cave but it was still great. Hoping for more evolution of the mother and daughter pair. Can't wait for more!
