is it safe to play? a free download seems kinda sus for a 10-20$ game ngl

Usually, if there are any issues such as viruses, users would report it here already.
It is really up to your preference.

One can say, we should support developers instead of downloading the game for free.

On the other hand:

1) There are many different games, we will be broke if we paid every game developers

2) For an uncomplete or in development game, we would be acting as testers of the game.

3) For an uncomplete or in development game, paying for an ongoing subscription plan is kind of a cash cow for
developers, especially for very minor monthly updates (and I have to emphasis: "very minor")

I feel more comfortable paying for a complete game than a game in development.

But this is for you to decide.

On an unrelated note, I tried to purchase Guilty Hell (the first one), yesterday through the Taiwanese website link, but was

not able to, received an error page. Not sure if it is because Guilty Hell is no longer available on Steam. The game was

on Steam several months ago.

I downloaded a V1.25 patch I found (provided upload link in the Guilty Hell thread), updated the game but still could not

locate the hand eating plant from the screenshot. Not sure if this was a discontinued DLC from a while ago or if is fanart or a

gif created by the game developer.

And no, this is not part of the boss Mistina in the forest.

Therefore the hand eating plant from the screenshot is still a mystery.......

People stumbled upon this site by chance, and here's what I found there. My question: why is the first part of this game so expensive on this site? And maybe that new enemy in the photo is why it's so expensive, or what?
Dude, when you see something so expensive, double check the currency, especially on weird chinese-based sites xD
The screenshots you provided is for Guilty Hell, the previous game. The second screenshot is very interesting as I have never saw that enemy before in Guilty Hell. I did not know there was a difference version V1.25 or if this is a result from some sort of DLC Pack. The screenshot also noted this is a Chinese version of the game with some DLC pack. Hmmmm.. , this is a new mystery... Now I really want V1.25 of Guilty Hell with the DLC packs...
As for the enemy, quick history lesson for you all - Kairi has a pixiv account, like most japanese artists/hdevs. Pixiv is a bit of a trash site these days but it used to be one of the best places to find true hentai and anime gold from indie artists.

Anyways, Kairi had a lot of 3d arts with Airi long before the game was even planned and you can see most of them on Pixiv. I think the oldest works are from 2009-2010? A lot of assets used in GH1 were actually a part of 3d art and independent sprite animations that Kairi worked on before.
Hell, in the files you can still find even images of enemies that were dropped or reworked.

Now, a huge package of these assets were included in 1000-1200 yen or whatever back when Kairi was still doing GH1 on Enty platform (which was a bit like Patreon, so you pay and get access to everything up to this point, not just this month's content like it happens on Ci-En). I had it somewhere, a long with some unfinished minigames that are not even worth uploading.

PS. DLC is just for the gunslinger Airi outfit, no actual new content is added beyond that. Save the money.
PS2. Correction - Pixiv is now either a total dump or Kairi deleted all of their old content on purpose, leaving only stuff from GH1. What a shit move but whatever...
PS3: Here's some of the curiosities that were just teased back in 2015-2017.

Good afternoon. Tell me. In this game, 70% is pain, suffering, rape, eating. 20% are lesbians. 10% - prostitution? I'm just not a fan of rape, but more for corruption. Girls are beautiful flowers that need to be helped to open up) and not raped and beaten to bloody meat. Other games don't have any updates, I'm bored. I'm watching something new.

Part 50 with large images included: Gofile
what do you mean large images
nevermind i just checked
honestly, eh
you know what would be cool though
if the game stops using renders and istead uses the 3D models in-game so we can have multiple camera angles just like in holy knight ricca
now that would be good
